When I disassemble my Astra 600/43, I view it from the front of the barrel, not from the rear of the pistol. Therefore I twist the barrel to the left or counterclockwise to unlock the barrel so the slide will come off and turn it to the right or clockwise to lock it back in place. I have seen videos that say both ways depending on your view. My question is, does the Astra manual, which I do not have, use the view from the front of the barrel or the view from the back looking forward to the barrel? I actually have my pistol in my left hand holding it sideways with the grip to the left. Hence the reverse view from your fine tutorial. Thank you. Your video is the best on the Astra 600/43. Once you are putting the pistol back together, and you have the recoil spring in place, you can use the safety to lock the slide and barrel in the correct place, then twist the barrel until it is aligned properly, and release the safety and the slide will go forward and the reassembly will be complete. There is no need to have to hold the slide and run it back and forth to get it in the correct place to twist the barrel into the correct position.
I have an Astra 600/43 that my brother tried to field strip to clean. When he rotated the barrel it somehow ended up sliding all the way back int the slide and will not allow the barrel to come out/move/turn or any thing. How do I fix this situation?
I clicked on this video for the same reason. I have this same problem. My brother is stupid too! If anyone can provide troubleshooting advice for that problem it would be greatly appreciated.

A quick statement on how the barrel bushing and barrel bushing lock need to be aligned during installation would help.
1:40- Lips on barrel bushing lock need to be aligned. Is that what you're talking about? Or if there's a step missing maybe you can elaborate.

I understood the cut when you went to go put on the barrel nut. You had to edit out all the cursing.
