- Hi folks, quick one to update the reverb side of things. Ive been finding guitars from all over the country, doing miles and miles and ive now started adding Ibanez guitars. Although, i think i best stick to being a blues noodle haha!
The few i had are gone already but as always theres usually a few new guitars a week so worth checking in and seeing whats about. I hope to be able to grow what im doing here and on reverb so thanks for the support!

insane tone bruther 🤘
For me the wizard neck is the best part of an Ibanez.
🤘
Ibanez makes insane good guitars for ANY variety of music. I've gotten killer strat tones on my old S370. Hahah. And metal. My son is very Ibanez prestige and premium. He's a few.
The Jem i had in recently was great too, got abit closer to the strat sound in certain positions. But as a Strat player through and through, Ive never heard any one demo one (or anything that wasnt a 3 single coil guitar) with truly convincing strat tones personally. Close just isnt close enough to me, just a good excuse to have lots of guitar haha.
@@Paul-D I can totally agree that only a strat SSS will sound alike haha. My SA 120 I had a close strat tone in neck. But surely not identical. I believe alot of it is snapping the string and dialing a good tone from amp too ...It always sounds like me no matter how bad. Hahahaha
@@Paul-D And.....To be clear....You basically describe my opinion here ...I love collecting for different tones. I make them work depending on need. But if I have to say what is my fave??? 1000% Strat. Hahah
Great review, love that guitar. Are there any other wizard thin neck electrics you’d recommend that are not as pricey? Thanks
I would hold out and find one of these (or similar Ibanez model) used. They don't tend to hold as much value used so can get real serious bargains
@@Paul-D thank you, what do you think of the Ibanez Gio GRX40? I see them selling for around $100 used. Do you know if it has a similar thin neck as this one? Thanks
Its a slim neck but its not the wizard flat thin feel, the guitar will also sound very different to these ones. But still very good value for money
@@Paul-D Thanks for your helpful information!
Lamb Of God!
Sacrament is one of my all time favourite albums. Not that it shows on a channel of mainly blues noodles lol
@@Paul-D No, that actually makes perfect sense. A lot of Lamb of God solo's, use blues scales.
How does the Wizard neck, compare to a ultra thin C shape?
An ultra thin C will still have curve going all the way round, the wizard neck has abit of a flat spot on the back more like a slim D
@@Paul-D I have a few ultra thin c shape Schecter’s. I love it! I want to try a Wizard. But I don’t play Ibanez.
Is this good for someone with small hands ?
Hard to say i suppose, its very slim but its also abit wide. I dont have big hands but can comfortably play large necks - i think so long as your not child sized or have injury/medical limitations you should be fine.
