Aaron Madrigal lullabies is a fantastic album. It’s more of a testament to how “good” this song is rather than how “bad” the others are, which I am in no way trying to suggest with my previous statement.
It’s on the uk version of Lullabies To Paralyze on vinyl, was so stoked when I got it cause I didn’t even realise it was on there. Just need to find “The Fun Machine Took A Shit And Died” now...
@@herbontheherb On my vinyl edition of Lullabies to Paralyze, it says that The Fun Machine Took a Sh@& and Died’ was misplaced. I will have the Era Vulgaris vinyl in a month or so, and I will see if that song is on there, but I don’t think it has ever been on Lullabies.
Shit. I think the only time(s) I’ve ever heard this was as store soundtrack from my days at the Black. Actually now I’m absolutely 100% sure of it~ me and my goddamn sentimental memory
Criminal this isn't on Spotify
It’s on the record I bought 😎😎🤘🏼
TOO DEVERAS FUCKEN CRIMINAL ISN'T ON SPOTISHIT
rated r deluxe?@@S0NO2896
Congrats did you buy the Japenese version cause it aint in my lullabies CD@@S0NO2896
We have Rated R and Era Vulgaris b sides now, is time for this one!
I absolutely adore every rarity this band has ever created
I feel the same about flak n flight
Same!

@@CaptainScrummys Era Vulgaris (the song)
I never could understand why this was never on a regular album... such a fucking rad track.
Yes i love it! This version is awesome but theres another version that i really like too, its a bit different
I think it's missing the thematic link to LtP, which sounds very "spooky". This is more like a badass driving song.
@@xxczerxx totally agree... I had a similar thought. Almost like it exists in a world between lullabies and songs for the deaf.
And the 4 Side on Vinyl ist unplayed😢
@@Zac_B_AZ 100% a Self-Titled vibe to the song just with some more honed in vocals!
Wow, finally a quality version of this track on youtube.
15 years later still rockin this 2019 !

It's 2023, and still rocking...

ANOTHER amazing QotSA rarity as good as any other song they've done...

I heard this first on the vinyl version of the album. Love it when bands put bonus tracks on physical media
First time hearing this version. AMAZINFGGG
I know it's not the lyrics but it sounds like he sings "I feed the hole and I'll never go home..." Still an awesome song either way.
it actually is the lyric on this version, the earlier one is where he says "i got a hole"
I think thatat is what hes saying, if not it really sounds like that
Let’s hope that QOTSA finally releases this on Spotify for Lullabies’ 20th anniversary next spring 🙏
this and like a drug
This song introduced me to Queens when i heard it on the Heavy Metal 2000 soundtrack 🤘🤘
I'm gonna cry why isn't this on Spotify
Its not fair man josh got all the damn talent. id love to have just a little morsel of it.
best intro ever
Holy shit some new queens!
This is the better version
First time hearing this version and I'm offended lol. My ears can't adjust, it's been too long
hell YES
Damn thats dirty and muddy. Just what i was looking for.
this song is so sexy.
Almost every QOTSA song is.
I agree
QOTSA is the only band who can make songs about suicide sexy.
I fucking felt that oh my god
I feel like this song is better than 50% of the songs on Lullabies. Not sure why they didn’t put it on the album. IMO
It's on the UK vinyl version of LTP, which is great for me since I have it
Lullabies is my favorite
for the collectors

Mitch this song is very good but lullabies is perfect for me but I get what you’re saying though
the 'wooo oooh' parts are wayyyy too quiet on this one. forever the inferior version. still love it though!
Where can I get this in a physical format?? Do you have one? Thanks...
el Mudman on the Japanese release of lullabies, orange and grey marbles vinyl. I’ve got it and it’s fuckin beautiful, got this and like a drug on it
Also QOTSA is reissuing this and 3 other albums on a vinyl and Lullabies to Paralyze has 3 bonus tracks: this, Like a Drug and Precious Grace.

@@letravaildegodard7537 danger on cd. I think at the time I heard they lost the recording but ran with the print regardless 🤷♂️
Not sure what he was going after here, the original is one of their all time best. This wasn't necessary.
Fuckin hell I like this 👌

It is impossible for them to make a less than perfect song.
The original song sounds better, sounds like song of the first album... whatever, it's a fucking masterpiece!
as much as I dig the guitar tone on this version and rly prefer the slightly altered lyrics, the original is lighting in a bottle.
I prefer this one.
I do declare, this song gets me all hot and bothered, oh dear! I need to rest now..

F@RK!!! TIS QOTSA GOLD!!😮!! Never heard it before, but already a BEEFY FAVOURITE!!!! KICK@$$!!!!
Vocals are somewhay similar to "I Wanna Be Your Dog" so dope!
The good version. Yeah.
come on, the older version is more coherent, imo

Original is better!
Gonna have to disagree on that, drums sound too good on this version
@@herbontheherb I agree, the drums hit harder
@@herbontheherb The original is more epic
got to agree with Herbie...drums and bass sound way heavier. Guitars are more bluesy also..
nope. this hits sooooo hard
