Where do you get the black plastic piece, those square washers, and the nut and bolt to attach the transducer to the plate? Did they come with your transducer?
yes they come with the lowrance hook 2. the square washers did not come with it but I used round ones and the bolt they gave was too short I used a slightly longer one
Good video it’s legit only thing is you forgot to put the battery installation. It’s important because I put the battery but forgot the FUSE and my fishfinder blew out 🤦🏾♂️🤦🏾♂️
Where do you get the grommets from that you put around your cables
I got mine on ebay. $$$$$

So no need for silicone marine goop to keep the debris and sand out from under the transducer? Thanks.. Good video.
That's very helpful, there are not a lot of videos explaining the process of installing a fishfinder on an outback, thanks
Thanks! I know is a long video, but i didn't want to skip any of the details.
I installed the elite 5 ti but when i go to my structure i see it blank no images are detecting any reason why
Mario Portillo you may want to try a factory reset, and double check that you selected the correct transducer during setup
Thanks for this, going to give this a shot on my Outback as soon as the weather warms up.
Its a game changer when you add electronics.

Awesome info man, gunna watch this to hook mine up in a couple days!
Excelente vídeo, me ajudou muito!
where did you put the battery?
I built a battery box and made an attachment with SAE connectors. It is stored in the center hatch, and fits perfect under the hatch insert.
Why did u have to bring that wire out under the seat?
Many of the Hobie Kayaks are "Lowrance Ready", meaning they are pre drilled to take a fish finder; This is just how the outback is designed.
good job
