I really reeeeally want this to qualify!
Likely will, even with the rather lackluster staging seen in the rehearsals. Cyprus is prolly the entry that will cash in on just the eye candy of their starter the most. Especially in Semi 1.
I'm not too concerned about this qualifying, it has televote appeal, with consistent vocals, the juries will chuck it through
Cyprus has already accustomed us to radio successes, and I love it. This song is no exception. The problem could be that this year there are many songs of that style and that could be counterproductive. I fear they might not qualify for the Grand Final. I'm a lover of bops and bangers, even though many people think it's generic pop music that has been seen before, many times. Hopefully, the staging will be good and they will advance to the final.
I agree that other countries have brought similar styles. We've seen Cyprus qualify with this hyper pop before (2018-2021) which gives me faith we'll see them qualify anyway, depending on the staging ofc!
Nah, this has been pretty much a safe qualifier since it had been put in Semi 1. Now if it was in Semi 2 u could rly fear... That said, I was let down by the bits we saw from their rehearsal choreo. We shall see.
