This is the 6th or maybe 7th No Rules! reaction video I've watched in 2 days, and I'm always grinning thanks to both the performance itself and the reactions. There's also a message in the lyrics, and a lot of the reactions don't really go into the lyrics, some don't even listen, just watch... Which brings us back to the show being awesome.
They're quite repetitive but I like the chorus section "why do I feel so beautiful tonight?'
I'm a 90's kid too and I love Eurobeat. I don't think this entry is made to win, but to make people laugh. I seriously needed that laugh that night so thank you Finland 🤣
Henri, the singer is a professional singer, musician, songwriter from a music institution, and voice actor. He has been doing voice over kids cartoons snd movies for 25 years, and he is now 30 years. He is also a singer in two bands Pasa and Kontio Polaris.
The demin egg has to do with Teemus shorts and the staging is from the Finnish national epos Kalevala. Teemu is a visual artist with an art gallery in Helsinki and a dj. Thanks for a great reaction, loved it.

I know, im finnish but w95 mans performance warmed my heart and they really put a lot of effort into the stage performance.

Windows95man said that the chorus of the song was so challenging that he had trouble finding a singer with enough technical skill to pull it off. Henri Piispanen was the only one whose voice could go high enough.
love how you notice the satirical part of this performance. I mean the ”seriousness/conviction” of everyone on the stage, in the lyrics and in the whole show. I think this kind of subtle humour wont work for most people though, they just don't get it 😅

I've had difficulty liking this all season - it's like Finland saw ChaChaCha and dialed up the chaos but it feels less fun to me

That's fair, not for everyone! It definitely is chaotic, but I enjoy how unique the approach is with it! The juries may not love it but I'm sure the televoters will go crazy for it!

One word: dreadful. They've (desperately) tried to recreate the magic of Kaarja but failed, spectacularly. The "singer's" vocals are like nails down a chalkboard; he cannot reach those high notes. I'll be stunned if this qualifies. It's a very fine line between having a laugh-along and being laughed at.
The song was written already in 2020, and he planned to go to UMK in 2021, but the lockdown came, so this has nothing to do with Käärijä.
This had actually been done before Käärijä and Windows95man has been gigging for 11 years already. Teemu Keisteri, the versatile artist behind the character, has carried this slogan with him for years even before that. Henry was nervous about that performance. You can hear it a little in the voice. Things are better today. After all, Henri was originally not supposed to participate more than producing.
Sorry you don't like it! I have to admit, it's a guilty pleasure of mine! I don't think it's going to win, but it is so entertaining. Estonia and Finland really turned the crazy dial to 100, and I'm into it 😆
