Season 2 of Vinland Saga has been slated for 24 episodes according to Blu-ray pre-ordering/listing information. Thorfinn is still the protagonist of the series, but Einar is definitely the deuteragonist of this arc. So something for anime-onlys to keep in mind. After season 1 (i.e. the Prologue arc), the Vinland Saga series stops being anywhere as near battle-focused, action-heavy, or concerned with political intrigue (at least politics focusing on monarchy). It becomes much more character study focused and historical fiction focused (for those not in the know Thorfinn is a fictionalized version of a real 11th century explorer/trader of the same name, who’s main primary sources come from two Icelandic Sagas histories). Also fun bit of trivia, this arc is often called the “Farmland Saga” arc of the series. But in addition to Wineland, one of the other common translations for the Norse word Vinland is literally “Farmland”. i.e. the most common name of this arc is literally just the series name but in modern English. Another bit of trivia about this episode, the first-half of it is an anime-original creation/expansion of Einar’s backstory (that is told largely by a couple pages of dialogue in the manga). Also in the manga the buyer, who was looking for more “cute looking men” to buy as a slave, actually copped a feel of Einar’s genitals (as part of the “inspection-process”). Vinland encompasses Scandinavia principally (Denmark, Possibly Iceland 🇮🇸, Finland 🇫🇮, Norway 🇳🇴, Sweden 🇸🇪 and Russia 🇷🇺
This is a BLATANT lie.
No it doesn’t, Vinland is in Canada lmao😂
@@mdot1799 I actually don't know much about The Vikings and The Arrival of them in North America but thanks 🙏 ☺ 😊 😀 ❤ 💙 for the information 😀 👍🏻. And I don't know nothing about Vinland
😭😭😭😭😭😭
Okay but even if you didnt know. The anime said multiple times that vinland is in the west across the Atlantic ocean. In the first episode they even showed native Americans living there. How didn't you figure it out? Cant blame you. These guys we are watching think vinland is a fairy tale lmao
Im convinced Mappa linked to the Yakuza
the real story begins now, it's no coincidence that the s1 is called "prologue"
お前らには難しいから見なくていいよ
This season is going to be so emotional and beautiful . I hope you guys hang on for this seriously amazing journey . However I feel instead of people saying oh people won’t like it cause of less action and more story and characters until the end where it goes crazy , of this season , I think just say yeah less action but more story and development. Have patience and if you hang on at the end you’ll see how it all paves out making it a true emotional masterpiece and storyline .
First season really over-emphasized edgelord-avenging-murder-machine Thorfinn; this season is much slower and contemplative, and I'm sure will blow the previous one out of the water. I think a lot of folks coming into this season anime-only are going to be reevaluating just why they like the series and/or the character.
@@leebug3424 completely agree . I think it’s a good way for people to evaluate the story or how a story can change after an arc . I just hope the anime only watchers would enjoy the second season also when they realize what a great arc it is for character growth and redemption ( hopefully 🤞🏻) 😅
if i could bet that they will drop soon i would give all win lmao
This anime is based on reality if you guys didn't know, most slaves in the time period were white and there was constant fighting across all of Europe. Obviously thorfinn wasnt a real person but he was supposed to be modeled after the fold lores that came out of that period. King Canute was a real king
The real men's anime is back. I loved season 1 so no doubt that season 2 will be even better.
dont expect it to be at all like Season 1, but yes it will be even better
Boring slavery back!!!
Thorfinn is a slave and he has no meaning thats why he is a slave because he has no will to fight out of slavery
he attempted to kill the King of England. How would he fight out of slavery?
@@RachelCormier1 wym how? It’s Thorfinn if he wanted to escape he would have already done so.
@@taviontaylor5742 I repeat: HE ATTEMPTED TO KILL THE KING OF DENMARK & ENGLAND. Where would he escape to? Do you know who runs the world at this time?
@@RachelCormier1 yeah and I’m saying if he wanted to escape he would and I’m caught up with the manga if they do the entire arc you’ll see what I mean by the end.
@@taviontaylor5742 But where would he go?? Wherever he went, the monarchy would recapture him and re-enslave him, or rightfully execute him.
rip lotta she was bad as fuck
thorfinn after season 1 is the goat
nice reaction!
Rttv you guys need to berserk golden movies after this is going to make you cry
This is a story of devlopment i love this series so much ,the answer is also right under our nose literally
Vinland Saga Yes! Both you guys (RT TV and The Normies reacted to this dope 👌 🙌 👏 🔥 👍🏻 😎 anime ♥) Let's go 🚶♀️ 💪 🙌 👏
I don't see it on their channel.
both those channels suck did, full retarded cast
If you seen vikings or any other viking type of show the name 'Einar' has come up before. The Japanese pronounced it different but it's pronounced like this. 'I - nar'.
too bad if they drop this later cause i like their review
This is where it gets good
Where’s one piece??
Lets goooo
don't worry guys i fell asleep to
Can you explain why?
same but with your mother
@@epnlvr9790 so we all agree this is trash
Thorfinn will teach him how to be...
Uno reverse
Vinland Saga is goated
Y’all mad at them but if we being honest the first season of Vinland Saga was alright. 🤷🏾♂️ y’all are gassing it. There are aspects I love like the fight scenes and style. But the mc was annoying for most of last season. Several episodes were SLOW!! Like leaves falling slow😭 it would take days to finish an episode. But people say the 2nd season story will be better so…. Hope so🤣
Honestly for me, I took a year before watching season 1 because how people were overhyping it. Watched it, thought it was alright, but hearing season 2 is all about story and thorfin potentially being less whiny I'm all for even if there is no action. Understanding themes or slowing it down I love
Tiktok attention span
How many times have you watched Season 1?
"the aspects I love are like the fights scenes and style"
-shounen fan 101
"There are aspects I love like the fight scenes and style"
This sums up why you probably didn't/and won't enjoy Vinland moving forward, ESPECIALLY this arc. Action is not it's focus. It's just there to help move the story forward when it needs to.
ахахахахха лол сидят угашенные аниме смотреть пытаются xD
Broken 💔
Einar could’ve done more, weakass big for nothing, ain’t pick up his mom or nothing even his sister did more
THE GOAT anime is back!!! Also the best manga ever written. Vinland is so damn good.
