      What's the best thing is he didn't care about their wealth, he was delighted to serve tourists, didn't overcharge them AT ALL, not a single penny! Beautiful.

    Yay, you found Chalghozas. The Pine Nuts they are called. They are from coniferous trees. Very hard to harvest and found only in cold mountains they are also very expensive. They can cost around 5000 a kilo in a city like Karachi.

    Seriously i wish your videos would just go on and on . Love it . The little things that he called Nezer are generally called Chilghoza , the ones you said tastes like sunflower seeds. They are also call Neja in certain circles. The trick is to peel a whole bunch of them and eat a fist full of them to actually admire the taste. As usual Stevana=Awesome

    What a BRILLIANT idea ! 10 STARS! A covered glass sliding-door bookshelf (to sensibly keep the dust & dirt off) at a bus-stop with freely available reading material. Even if they’d had like a slot-machine arrangement with a chute to return the books/magazines don’t think people would mind paying a small sum to keep the place clean.

    Wish these merchants had ebay stores! Show more rocks and minerals. After a breast cancer diagnosis, I remembered about a treatment that people would travel to Mexico for...layatrel ( excuse if spelled wrong) in my youth. It was derived from apricot seeds.

    Growing up we use to eat chilghozay( the sunflower seeds like pine nuts) in huge bunches, but now they're so so expensive , only a handful in Rs 4000. Respect , love and salam to the people of Karimabad from Lahore .BTW " Sher " means lion on Urdu .

    You should eat potato-cheese rosti at Cafe de Hunza. Although it's a swiss dish, still I'd say the best rosti I've ever had was at Cafe de Hunza! Even better than Switzerland :D

    Hey steve and Ivana, you guys got free chalgozay 'pine nut I think' that uncle gave you after peeling. That's the most expensive nut and exclusive to Pakistan and we have many memes due to its price! Also don't forget to try fresh apricots and plums in Pakistan depending on the season. I sooo miss them in Canada.

    What tasted like sunflower seeds was pine nut. Pinus gerardiana seeds. One of the most expensive dry fruits in our country.

    at 06:40 that was chilghoza pine one of the most expensive dry fruit in Pakistan. in Lahore its PKR 6000 to 8000 per KG.

    6:38 Pine nuts. Produced in Waziristan, Balochistan and Gilgit Baltistan. Very expensive. 4000-8000 per kg.

    Nice little stores, library next to a bus stop.

    Steve evana is right its a rusk with walnuts mounted on top and rusk is called a cake here in pakistan a cake rusk. The white dried paneer old man at dry fruit shop showed you was dried cheese which is speciality of baltistan region. Its bitter in taste but its health benefits are enoumous. Is this kareemabad bazar where you shopped dry fruits??
