I basically live for new Rosie video day. But it has to be the right setting, so I save it to watch while I eat dinner or drink my morning coffee. These videos have come to symbolize safety and comfort, needs met. So ridiculous, but it's the small pleasures in life that get me through.

Your design of the angled shelves around the window is genius. I usually dislike cupboards close to windows. They steal light and make you feel like being in a bunker with super thick walls. Your design makes the window seem much wider and hides the thickness of the cupboards. Impressed.

Rosie has captured a building feature of the old, thick-walled stone buildings that shaped the surrounds of their windows like this, and it's brillliant.

I'm in complete agreement and anxious to see the design below the window. I have a small room and plan to do the same (love the angle approach around windows!) but deciding if below the window should be small drawers or open shelves.

You stole my comment 😊 I couldn't agree more, such a smart way to cover a wall with a window entirely in cupboards without making the room darker, the window seem boxed in, the room seem alot smaller. This acutally helps the light bounce out into the room and the window looks much bigger! Love the linnen samples too. Very fitting in a house of this era and perfect match to the all natural wood vibe. Soft furnishings make a huge difference to interior schemes. I'm sure this is going to look beautiful!

So in one scene where she's hand sawing, and then as it moves into the next scene, you still hear the hand sawing as it fades into whatever she's doing next. To me, it's very sophisticated as far as techniques, but then I remember when 45 rpm records were a thing.

And your lovely voice and self describing the thought/design/choice process as you show the work process and progress. Even the insert of your sponsor time was nicely done. I can only imagine the time that goes into the videos along with the travel, exercise and activities of daily living (even UA-camrs need to do laundry - here it is just another layer of "process" that contributes to the whole). You are growing more and more adept as an artisan and as an artist. And, as a story teller and dream weaver... Thank you for doing such a lovely job taking us with you on your journey. Blessings!

Every time, every single time, I watch one of Rosie's videos, I'm filled from my chest with the warmest sense of peace and an odd homesickness for a life I haven't had yet. I'm always struck by Rosie's courage and ability to problem-solve. It makes this life seem possible!

Your building skills are so satisfying to watch Rosie, the way you calmly approach mistakes, regroup and remeasure...and then make a dress...soon you will be in the gardens making delicious meals and planting more flowers...you live a dream life for many and I look so forward to each video, it stirs in me that urge to start new projects and finish old ones...today I finished the painting of my front porch including the iron railings...and my opinion is...cute...!!!

Another delightful video - thank you.
I am mesmerised by the way Roaming Wild Rosie’s build outs are lifting the rooms in the cottage from plain boxes to something special. The bay window wardrobe feels like it was always meant to be as does the earlier build around the door to the kitchen in the other room. Well done that designer/builder.
I do love my own tiny house filled with IKEA bookcases and other items. But, oh dear, oh dear, they do feel protruding and angular by comparison with that Swedish cottage - very much blocks placed within a room rather than natural relief of the walls of the room.
I don’t know the correct filming terms but I really like the technique of intercutting two scenes while letting the sound from one scene run through both scenes. An example of this is the sound of sewing the overalls over the visual of walking in the woods wearing the overalls. This and cutting between building, essentially a once only activity, and hanging out the washing (repetitive domesticity) gives so much reality to the story.

I’m always impressed by how well you use a hand saw. Your cuts always look very straight and accurate. A lot of people (myself included) skip practicing hand tool skills and go for powder tools like mitre and table saws for straight and repeatable cuts.

Rosie, your design is looking enchanting. Looking forward to seeing where your imagination takes us on this room make over. For someone whom to my knowledge had not engaged in wood work until you bought your home - you have a wonderful way you use wood and design. Your folks must have a smile watching you on line and seeing you grow as a person in your own space. I hope they are able to return one day when you have finished your work and enjoy catching up with you in the spaces you have created. Its come a long way since your mum was digging a pipe trench for you and all of you were dealing with the results of neglect in the building. All the best.

What a beautiful way to start my day, watching you share your life with me! The drone shots are so enjoyable! And all that snow, out of nowhere, then totally gone again, leaving not a trace! Love your overalls! The 2 shelves by the window would be lovely without doors, just add your favorite things there. And isn't life a roller coaster? Up with joy one moment, down with disappointment the next! Looking forward to seeing you again soon, thanks for sharing with us, lots of love and hugs Rosie!

Hi Rosie , far be it from me to interfere with your design work, but I can’t help thinking about the shelving either side of that window.. I had a vision of no doors on it , and having some plants tumbling down with Knick knacks dotted around the other shelves.. my apologies for interfering 🤷‍♂️keep up the great work 👌👍

Renovation wallpaper! Brilliant. I live in a 100+ year old house. Not very well made just means you will be more mindful when you wear them and love them all the more! Just adjust the center of balance of your load on your trailer. It will let you ride faster.
