I still have an original Champion Reverse Weave hoodie I've had since 1990. He's so right about the much higher quality than the new ones. And they just get better with age.
Tremaine is the GOAT. I remember going to those London parties with Acyde and Virgil. The London years were very inspiring to me and friends at the time. Denim Tears is dope.
Glad to hear this guy talk. Awesome I explained to and older Russian man what the younger rich Russian kids were wearing in NY (Denim Tears cotton reef) he was in shock. It was a great teaching moment.
I remember when he started working at preme and ye was openly clowning the dude. Nonetheless hearing him speak made me make sense of his career cause to me a lot of his work flew over my head. Mad respect tho still
Yup I’m glad he separated from that jealousy and toxicity. Ye tormented all of his old “friends” when they started growing. Now he is trapped surrounded by people who could care less about him. His ego is too big to say he was wrong and break free. RIP Virgil
This feels like the old complex. Real authentic content, giving artists a platform to give a true insight to their character. No need for jumping on trends or trying to be progressive in their approach. Just simple and straight knowledge. Thank you complex.
Noah coming back to Complex and having the opportunity to bring this series with him is such a blessing to all of us who are students to the game. IMO nobody ask better interview questions then Noah but that’s not it he is also patient enough to let people get the true answer out. A lot of times questions are answered as a reflex vs having the time to really think about a past experience and really take yourself in that moment to answer a question in full. It’s a true work of art and I am extremely appreciative of Noah and how he does it.
Dope interview, dope person, thank you. UA-cam recommendations on point. I think I clicked on this because 'Virgil, Kanye, and Leaving Supreme' and walk away with another role model. The interviewer did great too
opening line was enough to get me to respect bro. been following his work a while but never bothered to watch an interview with him til now for some reason.
thank you for that... I dont get why the division is far more important to some when we have so much more in common rather than what we dont.... Peace, Love, and Care to everyone .. FRFR
Just watched this, broke no rent facing evacuation, my cloth store too rent due, reporting to my shop and saying everything is gonna be okay, when i really know it's bad but i believe😢
It’s never too late to find your path ✨
This dude used to eat at a restaurant I managed in London…real sound guy. Very polite and always nice to talk to.
Reminds me of golden era complex documentaries on the culture. Need more.
facts
so true this one was really for the books
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Yeah because Idea Generation putting the doc together. Complex gotta jump onto who’s putting the right stories out there

Great words, right? It got me too.
