would you be able to take this unit to a different country, use that country's simcard in the unit and have it operate the same but just off for example europe's network/dataplan you choose

Im trying to understand how the SIM card works with this. Im interested in replacing my crappy country internet with something like this because my hotspot speeds work very well, the problem is streaming video eats it away easily. After 15gb my speeds throttle but im not interested in switching mobile providers. So what do I need to do? I think I have to find a mobile provider that services my area with unthrottled hotspot and get a SIM card from them and set up a plan? I see in the other comment that you have unlimited data plans but ive never heard of you guys before, do you service all USA? I really dont know what im getting into lol.
Hi Lord Wrath, we only provide unlimited data plans, we are not interested in taking over any text and voice plans. We work with the three big LTE carriers with exclusive unlimited plans through their networks. We just need to determine who the best performing network is in your area and get you set up with an appropriate plan. I keep getting the “Mobile Broadband Disconnected” error message after streaming for a while. Any thoughts? I remove battery and reboot and it works fine for several minutes and then I get the same error again. Any thoughts??
I have tried following these steps and now with 2 different sim cards im getting the message sim not installed. what am I doing wrong or could something have broken?
@@yuh42011 I I’d fix it eventually by repeating the steps. I also had someone else helping me so I can’t exactly recall how we finally made it work. Sorry I can’t be more helpful
So on mine, I turned it off, unplugged it, opened it, took the old SIM card out and put the new one in. Now my nighthawk keeps restarting the moment I use its internet. Any help on the matter? There was a moment when it started working successfully, I turn off, unplugged and place it back where I originally had it but then I started having the same issue all over again.
This might be a stupid question.. but for the SIM card do you need to activate a plan on it for the device to work? I’ll really appreciate for responding.

You would not need to bring it anywhere. We would ship you an active SIM card for you to install in your modem. The imei number for your device can be found on the box with the serial number or in the inside of the unit underneath the battery.

Almightyhuuu, you would need to have an active plan on the SIM that is installed. You can find our active unlimited data plans at www.oliveip.com.

Yes sir. You would sign up for the BYOD plan for blue or pink depending on which carrier you prefer.

Can team mobile get unlimited
T-Mobile (I assume this is what you are referring to) has essentially blacklisted this modem. It is no longer compatible with their network.
