Really like the video and your explanation. Just have one question, shouldn't the system current be 13,889 since there's also a parallel connection (2x6,944)?
The calculator can't process that information. It can only do parallel OR series. And yes, you have double both the total Amp. and Watt after calculating one of the series.
hi there, I have bought 4 solar panels 340w ,Max Current (Imp) 9.82A Max Voltage (Vmp) 34.6V Short Circuit Current (Isc) 10.51A Open Circuit Voltage (Voc) 42.5V Weight 18.7KG Dimension 1664x992x35mm Cell Technology Monocrystalline but I didn't parallel yet I need help before somethings goes wrong LOL, my system run by 48v do I need to do parallel them?
Should I be ok with 1 Poly Renegy 100 watt panel with 2 mono Renegy 100 w solar panel? I bought the Poly about 7 years ago, and the 2 mono panels 1 month ago, and we have 2 JJN 100 w mono panels arriving soon .
@awa2827 19 hours ago Hi thank you for your helpful videos. I have a question about my solar system. I had 12v solar system with 10-180 watts panels and 2 lead acid batteries 12v/200amp connected parallel. I have them about 5 years and last month I bought 2 lithium batteries 230 amp each. When I connected new batteries, my inverter would turn on and off automatically every few minutes when there is less or no load connected to the system. I have 5000 watts Giandel inverter. I thought my inverter had a problem so I bought another inverter. This time I bought a 24v 5000 watt inverter and switched my solar panels to series. And I still have the same problem. I searched online but could not find any helpful information. Will you please help me out with this issue? Thank you so much.
Quick question let’s say you had 9 panels but have to do 5 in series and then the 4 in serious and the tie them In parallel will that work out or do you have to have an even amount of panels?
Even or odd numbers but always the same amount in both series. In your example the set of 5 would pump its energy into the set of 4. I guess you run the risk of being in the market for a new set of panels after frying the old ones.
What am I missing here ? In your series example of 6 panels, your multiplying both voltage and current to reach 216 volts at 1,500 watts Then adding an exact 6 series panels, in a parallel string adds only current not voltage, 216 volts but now at 3,000 watts output If both parallel strings gained v+a Couldn't you have 6x36=216 volts , 6x250=1,500watts Added to another string of 6 panels And then get 12x36=432 volts , 12x250=3,000 watts More power = 😁
Current is not measured in wats. The current is the same in one string. He doesn’t show the current. So 6x36=216 volts at 6.19 amps. Another string of six added in series will be 433 volts at the same 6.19 amps.
Voltage x Current = Power
Haha that is correct, thanks!
Hey señor Solar, loopt ik toch zo tegen jouw video aan tijdens mijn zoektocht naar kennis. Mooi man. -Keniaanse Johan-
Haha hey kerel! Wat leuk om van je te horen!
Watching from Zambia
Good to hear from you Stecy!
Great job, mate. Love your videos. Keep on the good work! 🍺🍺🍺
Thanks Alex 👍

I want to know whether that 216 can be connect to hybrid inviter at ac input
I want to know series and parallel connection which is better for a hybrid inverter
Great work, well explained!!
Glad you liked it Caxito!

If my inverter is 8kw voc 370 (125~500) which one is right 370 or 500 the max voltage?
Good video. Thank you for making it.
Glad you liked it Dino!
Well explained that you
You're welcome!
Would it still work to have 6 modules in parallel an the tie the two in series

@@JaakJacobus thank you that makes alot of sense !
I’m shocked you didn’t discuss amps
P = V x I
Perfectly does it mean series or parallel meaning 24volt system
In terms of length of time .Which one lasts longer? Parallel or series ?Somebody answer please
It's depend on design sir, maximum pannel we connect series type of connection.
What happens if I connect 120v dc with 80v dc in parallel from solar panels
It won’t work right I already ask this question as well
As you can damage your panels you need to have an equal amount of panels with equal specs
I'm here again
Hey Daniel!
Yes 👍 ☀️⚡🔌💡
Good👍
Thanks David

I thought no one is gonna mention that :D

@Full Electric Your right, my misunderstanding
So pararrel connection is the best
Each panel is almost 7 amps
