Hello! I know a $3 one! It's at Upper boon keng food centre "penang fried kway teow". It's super good and not too salty but the flavour is still there. Pls go there and try one day and maybe film! :)
Oh yeah, would like to mention that the last time I went there was December 2022 so idk if there is a price rise. But even if it isn't $3 anymore, its my personal favourite! 😋😋😋

Based on the price of organic ingredient, the organic food is tasteless and not much sweetness and flavor.
Should use more approved industrial food chemical to enhance the taste and flavor of organic food.
Can eat more things into the body.
$4 char kway teow is reasonable price and cooked in traditional style, suitable for locals.
As for the expensive char kway teow, $35 is not worth it. Overpriced and spoilt the Singapore food price. My childhood days char kway teow 50 cts and taste good, traditional cooking with charcoal wok. Those days, the hawkers were passionate with their work as cook. Nowadays, younger hawkers lack cooking skills and overpriced their food. Greedy coffee shop owners also to be blamed raising high stalls rental. Japan, the food price is cheaper than Singapore. In the future, Singapore will suffer too expensive city and expensive food, more tourists will skip Singapore and travel to our neighbouring countries to have good and cheap food.

Awesome episode! Ghim moh market’s CKT has been there since the 80s when I lived opposite the market. Always a long queue regardless weekdays and weekends. The taste of CKT is a very subjective topic like chicken rice lah. In any case, enjoyed this episode !
