just rooted my LG V50 V500N using this and i can confirm it works and i can vouch that this is brick proof as long as you strongly follow the backing up part, AND A VERY IMPORTANT ADVICE---- this tutorial video is for advanced users only who has previous adb and rooting knowledge because the uploader SKIPS ALOT of newbie how-to steps that is either a good thing or a bad thing depending on ur situtation --- good luck

Thanks, lol I almost had a panic attack when I flashed the modified abl_a my touch screen stopped working but I unlocked the bootloader and flashed the stock abl_a and magisk and my Xfinity g8 is now rooted

@@TechnoliRama brother I bought my phone from china and it was pre-used and prerooted, one day a magisk update came and I accepted it then it rebooted, after that everytime the phone is stucked in the fastboot screen

i got a question the patch 20d img is 25mb and the stock back up is 98mb why is there such a big size difference. I installed the 20d patched and i got stuck in bootloop until i restored my boot a/b img again. i recommend you back up your own stock boot a/b and patch them yourself since my file size was 93mb each and after re-flashing my own boot files i had root

Make sure your mobile is connected to a usb 2.0 port ok your pc / laptop
Newer laptop come with usb 3.0 ports and they don't work well with fastboot
