Dating a co-worker isn't bad but make sure both of you don't belong to the same profession else you will be stuck together 24x7 most of the time. I dated my boyfriend who works on the same team as myself for a few years before we tied the knot. After marriage, I moved to a different company but then years later, we end up working at the same company and guess what, on the same team again. hahaha.. We are destined to be teammates!

Yeah i'm with you, i thinl ghosting it's like avoiding problems but they are people, just say: "i'm not interested, don't want to keep interacting, have a good life", but also some people are really pushy, don't accept a "no", so maybe that's one of the reason for ghosting someone
These are always my favorite collaborations. Love all of y'all. However, did want to say that's it's a bit telling that both (admittedly awesome, but still) men are okay with asking for a date at work. Because of the usual power dynamics at play in the with place, there are too many bad possible outcomes for women: say no, and there is always the chance for retribution; say yes, date, then break up, and there is more potential for retribution. Ideally people would be mature enough to handle the emotional ups and downs well, but this is often not the case--and I'm sure there are plenty of instances where men are also treated badly for turning down or ending a romantic relationship with a co-worker too, but with women, it's rampant.

I know you will find someone who is perfect for you." or something like that. Just because you're not into them doesn't mean that they don't have feelings or deserve a show of respect. Unless there a really scary person and then I get it. 😉

My classmate is an outgoing guy. He find me intimidating cuz I always look serious. Our mutual friends ship us a lot and gave us a ship-name. He calls me by our ship-name for fun. My friends made him prank me saying he likes me and I was kinda pissed at him for that.. But he doesn't know I like him.. He always texts me first and uses 'babe' sometimes.. Usually texts once in 2 days at night.. He told my friend that he's shy to talk to me and always asks my friend if he wants something from me. He gives mixed signals and idk if he really likes me or he's playing with me..
He's definitely interested, though I don't know if he's serious. However I would see him to see where it goes, you can judge later :)

This is my 2cents, You can always discern if the guy is into you, if he is, then it doesn't matter who asked who, guy asking the girl out or vice versa, we're in the 21st century. Take your chances and ask the guy out or tell him you're interested in him. The worst thing is gonna happen in this scenario is he will say no then get over it and move on. Don't over think.

Will these be controversial questions?: Why (some) adults can’t break up amicably? Are relationships supposed to be hyper emotional (negatively) during break ups?
No, you have every right to ask these questions. Whether break ups turn hostile or not sometimes depend on why the couple broke up (it also depends on personalities I think). If one of the persons has been unfaithful I think there is a greater risk of the break up being hostile.
I told my then husband in August last year that I wanted to divorce him. I stayed in the house until I got an apartment in January this year (without any problems arising). We are still friends and cooperate nicely together (we have kids which takes some cooperation). He got a girlfriend in the spring. In the beginning she had problems accepting that we (him, the kids and I) dine together once a week, but she is not from our culture so that might have something to say as well. She is fine with it now though.
I think culture and economy play a role as well. In Denmark nobody looks down on someone who is divorced (I think that in Korea you become somewhat of a social outcast) and the state will help you cope financially so money is less of an issue. I think both these facts make you recent your ex less.

@@iancumil8484 Some people sure prefer to misunderstand comments made online. But of course it is valid to question what from kdramas is real and what is not. It is my impression that things (attitudes) change quickly these days in Korea so what might have been real 10 years ago might not happen today. It also depends which generation of Koreans you ask I think. I cannot wait for covid-19 restrictions to ease so it is possible to go see for myself. 😁
