  • Introducing the MoXIE Solo - the future of mobile, exchangeable, intelligent energy. This innovative powerhouse is packed into a sleek, compact unit, delivering an impressive 3.6kW AC output with simultaneous DC outputs. Designed for versatility and sustainability, it ensures reliable, portable energy for on-location shoots, remote film sets, and emergency backups, making it the ultimate energy solution for creative professionals.
The MoXIE Solo is compatible with two distinct cell packs, each with unique advantages. The “Vita” cell is a 3kWh LifePO4 battery known for its robustness and impressive cycle life of over 4,000 cycles. The “Kodiak” cell is a 2kWh Sodium Ion battery that excels in extreme cold, operating efficiently in temperatures as low as -40°F. Of all the gas generator replacements this is the best by a long shot! The fact that the batteries are user replaceable makes it means you could go all day if you have a way to charge at basecamp. Also I really love that y'all are offering a Sodium Ion, its extremely green tech. The only thing I think this unit lacks is a solar charger which y'all could make a stand alone kit for.
Something for the future would be a bigger unit that can take 2-4 batteries and would output a 240v and a bates connector. plus a multi battery charger on 240 that works using a dryer outlet.

Right on! This is the first iteration of the Moxie Solo, so we definitely have more for it in the future. Love the suggestions, I will pass them along as well. Keep on rockin'! 🙌🙌

We shoot a travel show where we review bathrooms and we often have shoots at museums or larger venues where we're in and out really fast. We don't have time to run cabling and worry about cable management. We also shoot outside often without access to power. We can't run loud generators at these locations so this would be a game changer.

We live in North Dakota. It actually gets to 40 degrees below zero in January, and most batteries just can’t handle it. We would use the Moxie solo to keep the lights on when we're shooting in remote winter locations using the Kodiak to power our tungsten fresnels. LED softlights are nice, but for shooting beautiful faces, nothing beats traditional tungsten fresnels.

This is SO good. I would use this for corporate/industrial shooting to cover large scenes with high output lighting or in remote locations like construction sites, or documenting field work. Love the idea of having the cells available at rental houses.

Shot a feature in the woods recently. We absolutely wouldn't have to run long cabling and especially the sound department freaking out, if we had the MoXIE Solo.

Amazing! I would use the MoXIE everywhere, but especially out in the field. It would allow for quick setup and I wouldn't have to worry about the issues an conventional gas generator would present on location.

Being able to do a shoot in the salt flats with high output lights but smaller crew is a game changer

In combination with efficient LED we can say goodbye to to dirty gas and diesel power plants. I see several Moxies distributed throughout the set powering 1200 to 2400w LED lights.

    Small?

In comparison to other generators, it is much smaller and lighter. You can't pick up most of the others ones and place it in the back of an SUV.
