JR, what you said about letting it (the grudge against someone) be in the past, reminded me of one of the descriptions of heaven that I was just recently reading - "all things are past, behold all things are become new." (Might not be exact quote - Rev 22) When you said what you said, at first I thought to myself, "but what if you live with that person daily? How do you let go?" Then that verse came to me and I thought, why not a "heaven on earth" mindset? After all, while on this earth, God's people are to do exactly that - forgive, forget, and "die daily" to self. There are so many scriptures telling us to do just that. For some reason, this hit me differently and came like a flood of new thoughts and peace over me. Your words have helped me do some putting away hurt feelings that have lingered all too long. Thanks for your good videos!
Thank you for your amazing comments! You are so right. We have to forgive and let go, God knows I’ve struggled with letting go. I really like “die daily” helps me understand that it’s something we have to do over and over, not something we do once and then forget about it.
