All the pedals were played through clean Fender Deluxe Reverb and the guitars were a Gibson Custom Shop Gold Top Les Paul & a Mex Fender Strat.

actually I think Rob should do a part 2 video with Throttle Box EQ because you guys can't do "brutal" and that's the point of it and I don't believe this video does that pedal ANY justice
found a good deal on a perfect b-stock item so I pulled the trigger without breaking the bank... Flux-Five arrived today, plugged in into my JCM2000 and WOW! through the clean channel it sounds smooth and consistent, not muddy at all, with a good variation of sounds from a clean-ish boost up to a good classic rock OD, rich warm and never too harsh... but... it's through the crunch and the lead channels that the real magic happens: an explosion of harmonics and overtones that I've never heard from any of my guitar-amp combo, the distortion can reach the highest peaks and it never seems 'too much' if you get what I mean; also, the deep control over EQ means you can adjust it to every instrument and taste. that's exactly the sound I've been after for years, thanks Mesa this pedal is a dream come true and thanks guys for the awesome demo, it really helped me decide... to anyone considering this pedal, just go and try it yourself it'll sure be worth! I just hope the neighbours will love it too LOL \m/ rock on
More kool pedals at Andertons ,what a difficult and fun choice I am having in setting up a pedal board there are so many great drive ,delay and chorus pedals out there awesome !!!!

Great pedals but I have 1 thing that happens on the Throttle box EQ when switching the EQ Hi in / out toggle switch I get a loud pop / click is there a fault with my pedal or is this an issue that has been raised before?
Hey Captain, If you really want to use the EQ pedal as a boost of all the original overdrive Flux signal you should put it AFTER it, not before. Puttin' it before as you've made just gives more push and compression to that special frequencies that you choose for the drive to push. This all is said by Dan from THAT PEDAL SHOW in the EQ video!

i love how lee is randomly stabbing buttons like he is confused, scared and they are going to hurt him,lol
i must say with a complicated boogie device ,show each control through its individual range to understand the effect of
each control.these are like a swiss army knife and each tool has a use,the tone you can achieve with a little patience is incredible.try a triple rectifier or a mark 5 amp sometime,they take thought,time and a decent ear to get good tones but your patience will pay off in spades.many people give up because it isnt simple like an old plexi,but they arent like an old plexi its like a 747 isnt like a cesna airplane but each has its uses,ine has a longer learning curve but can do more in the end.
I wanted Lee to just take the middle slider and wiggle up and down for a Wah effect the whole time.

Kick it! Beastie Boys reference ha. Sounding good, I don’t know what I want for my 1980 Mark llb, the amp distortion is muddy. I want a tight dirty pedal and the a boost lead.

The flux drive sounds very British to me. Much like a plexi cranked.
Awesome pedals but just one thing wring with the flux five.. when it's off you can't see if the pedal will be in high or low mode when you switch it on. If there was a light to indicate in with it is when it's off and I wanted to turn it on and go to the other mode I would kick both knobs at once.

The slidervalue consists from 0 to 255. Correct? If so, isn't there a way to let the device memorize the perfect setting? I mean. Take a look at the mini tuning(Gibsons) system. It "motorizes" the tuning. Can't we have that for an EQ pedal?

I had one! Great guitar play feel wise, decent build. The neck PU was absolutely lovely but bridge was a bit lacklustre. In the end it went and I kept my customised Strat, I just didn't warn to it.

Yep. I've kicked my knob inadvertently walking off after a sound check using a blackstar dual ht. Opened with (classic cheese) Hotel California and come the solo - click - silence - much confusion. Knobs to it all.
thats why many pros either have the pedals in a cabinet and use midi switching ,use the tech to change them or they tape the knobs into position and have multiples of one pedal.

What's the deal with the simple 5-band EQ? You can have a more compact pedal with equal or better quality and more bands for LESS
its a lot more than a boss or mxr pedal,there is a lot more going on or you would see every amplifier created with this 5 band eq on it.this is like a mesa signature thing and it works very very well.
