There's a mistake in your description : There were only 8 members in this group; and Randy Muller was NOT a member from Skyy ... Though the two groups originated from Brooklyn, New-York; Randy Muller was the founder, lead member, keyboardist and flutist from Brass Construction (an other group from N.Y., indeed); he helped his friend Solomon Roberts to build up the group Skyy, but was not part of it. However, Randy Muller did produce some Skyy songs; for the Cayre brothers' label "Salsoul" (now defunct) and for "Alligator Bit Him" productions (also defunct now). Randy Muller eventually founded "The Muller Organization" too, for his own group; Brass Construction.
p.s. : Notice on this video how the new member/keyboardist - Wayne Wilentz - is dressed with the same shirt as the preceding member (Larry Greenberg) was wearing on the "Skyyline" album. As Larry Greenberg no longer sported a moustache on "Skyylight" (the last album where he appeared), you could have thought it was still him here, on this video ... It's tricky, right !?

Love how most of them were dressed (except for the lady doing the replacement) almost like on the front cover's photo from the "Skyyline" album (1981) !

Disco sucked (hence the movement around 1979, when disco was being dead) but FUNK definitely ROCKED !!!

Dick Clark's attitude lacks his usual friendly enthusiasm. Unsettling, off-put demeanor is cringe. Not the best depiction of his interview style.

He had to cope with a crazy audience all the time ... But what was one to expect, when there were groups like Kool & The Gang, Sylvers or again Skyy ... ?!
