You’ve made me want this car so bad. After tons of research lot of people say the N54 isn’t a reliable platform. Would you say the car is reliable and worth building?
I’d say it all depends on your circumstances and what your goals are. If you’re wanting a quick, fun daily I think they can be great cars but they need to be built specifically for that. If you’re wanting to do a “full” build like mine than it definitely shouldn’t be a daily and you should have a mechanical background and be able to work on it yourself a good amount. If you do your maintenance then I say they definitely can be reliable at a reasonable power number but I’ll tell you that my car isn’t reliable at all hahaha I’ve had a lot of issues lately but they are all due to doc races single turbo manifold. It seems like people that run different manifolds don’t have boost/ O2 issues like I do due to different placement of the wastegates and sensors. I think my car will be great but I haven’t gotten it dialed yet.

i have the 2012 n55 model is the single turbo kit/ sway basically the same? i haven't seen a video of a n55 platform going big single top mount
