From Columbus Ohio! Have been growing my locs for 3 .5 years. Started October 15 of 2020. Was started by a loctitian/hair stylist with comb coils. Hair has grown to bra strap length
That's Crazy I started my locs almost the exact same day in October of 2020. Hey Loc twin lol
I cut off my 4 year old loca due to lint buildup. It started off as just a trim but the buildup was higher than i thought. I had semi freeform locs which made cutting off the locd parts pretty easy so im back to having a fro which I have missed . I will start my locs back when the hair is long enough to two strand twist. I had 43 locs with my 1st set and i will like an even number this time around. The hair is long enough to twist but being that will do my locs myself its too much right now. I think that i have to be at a certain angle to twist this mini fro.
Ooohh thanks so much for giving a great video idea: how to avoid lint buildup in your locs. Starting with an even number next time sounds great 🙌🏾

I'm from Detroit, Michigan and I've been growing my locs going on 2 years. I love them, but unfortunately, they're thinner than I would like at the crown. I was thinking about semi freeforming.
