Incredibly Close Crosswind Landings
Вставка
- Опубліковано 19 жов 2019
- A plane's worst enemy is a raging storm. These planes are all caught in the storm's crosswinds right before landing. If you are scared when there is plane turbulence, you would definitely freak out if you were inside one of these planes.

These pilots have some crazy skills. My hats off to them. Damn.
I'm surprised there aren't more accidents, these guys are seriously skilled.
Never seen anyone tokyo drift an A380 until today 😂
I have, but seeing it again is sort of like... deja vu.
⁰
I bet they slammed down on Gas gas gas.
I was on an Air Canada A320 landing Calgary with crosswinds. It felt like we were coming down a boulder strewn mountain on a sled sideways. Half the passengers were screaming, some silent, and quite a few laughing believe it or not. Nervous laughs for sure.
When I got off I poked my head into the flight deck and thanked the pilots. The Captain smiled and said, "Yeah, I was just thanking someone too"
Lol awesome story
Must have been back in the day, when you actually COULD poke your head in the flight deck lol
would have punched those overdramatic pricks screaming...
@user-mt4zr5kp7h just got off a flight in Australia. Deck is open getting on and off. Sometimes the pilot is there to greet you.
I felt every single one of those landings.......great video.
that 2nd plane landed almost like a Harrier, impressive stuff
Xyяpиep
Spectacular of them all. I always say that these pilots are doing a great job of flying that plane.
Those pilots must have a lot of experience flying sideways. Great job.
Mos def. I drive professionally and I've got a lot of experience doing it sideways so, makes sense.
THE FIRST ONE BLEW MY MIND, so nice to watch this!
Cool video, but no need to photoshop the thumbnail pic with an obviously fake and doctored photo.
Ikr
ACTUALLY IT DID HAPPEN PEOPLE IN A DIFFERENT VIDEO
Harley Rucas shut the up
@@PenguiNachos128 YOU SHUT THE FUCK UP
Lmao😂😂
Me: sees thumbnail
Also me: this guys has good editing skills
Wow thats some drifting landings
That is some skill right there.
That's got to be the best pilot I've ever seen!
...so it would seem
Ryan Air: Amateurs, have you seen our landings yet?
Incredibly crazy challenges! Great work pilots ;)
It would've been nice to see and hear passengers reaction on that a380.
Fernando Salas you’re a psycho no offence
when you get turbulence, etc. most people gasp all at the same time. I was flying to Toronto and we hit a patch where we dropped about 1000 feet. We were all buckled in - but that was the only thing I remember about that flight. it was crazy because the last drop over dropping again and again and again was a huge drop and everyone gasped at the same time because we all were kinda floating for a bit out of our seats
Piloting skill, ninja. Level up!
Skilled pilots. We need them.
The thrill of flight
Great pilots!
WOW! that first landing was putting the gear *through it* nicely engineered!
I work on these babies every day, they are truly incredible machines.
@@jlockwood65 I must say that I am partial to the Boeing 757
@@jlockwood65 It's a pretty common aircraft type for us, we operate 127 of them. It appears your family is very well acquainted with aviation, that's very cool. I have visited the Everett, Wash. location many times. 8-)
@@jlockwood65 Delta! But good guess...we actually service both of those guys as well! Our MRO facility, (TechOps), is world renown...
@@jlockwood65 You're very welcome... I'm pretty sure no DC-9's or 10's are flying passengers today. That's an old bird, built in the 60's in Long Beach, CA. There are however, a few of both that are still in service in the cargo industry, especially the DC-10. FedEx has a few that I know of...
@@jlockwood65 thank you so very much, JoAnn. May the receiving of blessings rain down on you and all those you love!
00:21 I like how in the back you can see an emergency vehicle already on the way, just in case.
It is only a safety car
Ikr lol
Awesome video. You just got another subscriber.
Watched this 2 years ago, and finally found it again!
Yesss another video!😃
Must have had some nasty cross winds.
Cool video
Exceptional pilots!
Serious finesse used by those pilots. Wow.
Everyone is a driving/riding god till they watch some drift a damn plane!
I like this airplane ✈️ was flying in the sky
Love the music
4:17 That pilot is a boss
Actually no. Cross wind you need to keep the upwind wing low.
I would like to see more of the after touchdown. You are working the rudder one direction to keep her aligned with the center of the runway
kick it straight then hold the rudder the opposite direction you were holding it for flight. (Wind acting opposite on the tail when on the ground)
Amazing Pilots!!! I would fly with any of them in Captains chair!!!
Is it me or when you go on a plane your scared your going to crash? 😂
I'm not scared. You're safer in a plane than you are in your car driving down the road.
Incredibly dangerous. I will like video
que bueno el vide, bravo a esos pilotos
Those Bombardiers!! I won't fly in one on a GOOD Day. 😲
🙌🙌🙌
What a great 👨✈️
Some amazing and well executed approaches and landings from what I can see. Some shook up passengers on a few of them I would think. Especially the first one of the A380. Man does that thing swerve a few times after touchdown.
You dad entered that flight white...he came out blue 😂
Mad respect to commercial pilot’s
I am watching this just before I am gonna do my first solo flight
How did it go?
It was really good
I made really good landings but it didn't go well with the takeoff😅
@@suryanshsinha6118 Nice work! The landing is more important anyway :p
@@d-rockanomaly9243 yup
@@Overfit0 Everything goes wrong when you are nervous so just be confident bro
Eine Meisterleitung der Piloten !!
I couldn’t be a pilot . Flying in the pitch black and making crazy landings . No thanks, props to y’all pilots
I love watching planes crab ❤️
WTF🌚🌚
OMG we all put our lives in their hands, and what skill they have
Poetry in motion.
Woman buying a bus ticket.
Ticketmaster: "Hey lady, you know it's faster to take a plane than a bus?"
Pretty much ryanair do crosswind landings all the time even on not a windy day
Very scary stuff ✈️
So glad nobody got hurt!!
Some pilots love this challenges
And yet the nose-wheel always seems to touchdown on the centre line.....
M
I'm sure GLAD I was not in ANY of those Airplanes!!!
That's the view from Bonney wee Scotland 🏴🏴🏴🏴🏴🏴!
bravo to all pilots
Crazy how heavy these planes are but wind can make him hop around like some toy
Its magic its magic 🤣🤣
I cry after every time I land on a plane.
Woah th pilots were so great
Great video captures!
I will never understand how a 400+ ton fully loaded jet doesn't cause the rubber tires to burst on touchdown, which could conceivably place a 150% or 600+ ton load on those tires. How is that even possible?
I'd make damn certain that was the last time I flew into that (those) airports!
This gave me a panic attack. Nope nope nope
These pilots are the real DK
These pilots have balls of steel...no titanium...wait maybe diamonds cuz those are toughest!
I get air sick just watching these.

Salute to the pilots 🙋♂️🙋♂️
👇👇👇👇
you can see the plane flexing
im watching this and tommorow i fly
Wow
glory to the heroes
That's what they call landings that you can walk away from !
@5:44 imagine sitting on the right side of the plane, and seeing the ENTIRE runway!!! These pilots are Bad Ass!!!
4:47 is a crazy angle!
If you dont like flying....stay off. Those Pilots have skills and a big set of you know what.........
Wow ...😯😯😯
All these pilots still landed better than Ryanair on their best day🤣
That A380 was the Tokyo drift version
the forth one is in st martins its really nice there
What's this 'Incredibly Close'? They were all perfectly executed given the conditions ...
That thumbnail Cannot be real 😱
B.A. Baracus has entered the chat.
None of these are dangerous, pretty textbook Ryanair ™ landings
It looks like the plane is still
And how long does it take you to figure out they loop a landing?
0:03 move to the left move to the right criss cross
Cha cha real smooth
That purple plane 1:40 look like being lowered by wire.
Most are actually bigger civilian version of the jump jet. Piece of cake for the pilots
Not a piece of cake - it takes focus and skill.
Pilots these days
I’m shook
looks like the cops were pursuing that plane at 24 seconds!
In the beginning of that video, you see the "relative speed", which is to be compared to the wind, to the air... And some airports are well orientated, they "face the wind"... Some other are just to be much more secured that theuy are now (Just imagine to build them with orientable tracks or in *. Or with removable walls, that would ameliorate security). You can see some planes that fly at a very low speed "compared to the soil". They could even crash, perhaps with no damage for people (passive security). What I do like, also, is that airplanes sometimes look like "big and fragile animals"... They nearly are, cause there are people inside ! Children, wives, and so on... Anyway, we see it all here: there is something crazy and Mankind dream to fly is worth.
What a great video of the amazing plane landing during the crosswinds!! I would be scared beyond measure! Jesus take the wheel and please land us safely!! I know we all have to see You one day but not today nor this way please!! I ask in the mighty name of God, the Father; Jesus, the Son; and the Holy Spirit!! 😂😆😄🙏🙏🙏
This is how RyanAir pilots land, even when there is no wind
These are very skilled pilots so this is not a funny comment
As I expected, the eagles or the flatted top fuselage fixed wing will had a better control, it performance to fly steadily at the slowest speed which make the plane suit to serve in the operation of the fire fighting during any condition of open burning which require the pilot to drop the water from the above incidented area.
Now you know why pilots drink ~
Segundo informmacso dum amigo piloto numa destas aterragens maravilhosas o piloto cmdt e portugues. Parabens a todos

Agreed!
Those pilots worth every dime they're paid.
