I know I'm not black, but I don't think you understand that it's extremely common for a lot of non black people who grew up in predominantly black areas say the word with an A because it's a word that refers to your homie or dawg. Tupac and Eazy E have talked about this and explained how saying the word isn't a slur if it isn't the hard R. Even my sister in law who's black and my stepdad who's black don't say "Only black people can say the N word regardless", and they don't mind my brother and mom saying it because we grew up around mostly black people. I'm also a person of color, and I think that we shouldn't be so quick and obnoxious to call everything racist.

What I thought from idubz video is basically either all slurs should be allowed or none of them and since obviously we aren't going to let people say any slur they want then we should hold people that say other slurs just as accountable as those that say the nword.
I agree, I think a good position is that all slurs should be criticized or at least looked at, if people are being belligerent or uncouth with them. And it depends on the situation. There can be situations where it’s more acceptable to say them, but you can’t just throw them out willy nilly and without class, and not even entirely because of historical context, most of the time its just in poor taste, crass, and cringe (to be mindless with saying the words).
Idubbz missed the mark in that people had a right to take issue with him saying the n word because so much of it was to grab attention and provocative, and overall tasteless. Then he tries to make a moral grandstanding argument that puts an ultimatum on the slurs and people that use it and uses an absolute rule, when these situations are far more nuanced than that.
Also he’s wrong in that words like the c slur for Asians are considered extremely offensive and will get you blacklisted and banned within a moments notice, he acts like the N word is some martyr and is the only word that’s criticized just because he wanted to say it
