I`m a Yorkshire lad living in the USA,nice to hear a proper accent :) I use a FX Streamline, shoots most pellets accurate out to 35 yards,if I want to reach out further I`ve found the JSB 15,89gr work best to 75 yards and beyond,so these Hades pellets are the same weight as my most accurate pellet but with expansion,we`ll see how they perform. Weather domed or HP,the best hunting pellet is the most accurate and consistent performer. Accuracy trumps everything.
I'm also shooting sub 12 and have experienced that the hades don't expand until it hits something hard, i.e. a bone or so. Did some tests on 3-5 mm thick wood sticks (WDH 50 x 3-5 x 100) and while the normal JSB pellets passed straight through the Hades just smashed and split the sticks into pieces, this was in 40 meters. Polymags did pass through, only generating a bigger hole. Fantastic stuff both of em anyway.
Outstanding accuracy that Brocock Capatto 22cal is a tack driver , no expansion with the Hades , got to put out at least 30 FPE and you will get major expansion , I love the polymags 16gr they never disappoint me .
The same as you I was hoping for more . A sub 12 just can’t give them the zapp they need to work properly. In a high powered rifle I expect they will work well. Nice one chap. Mark Solware tv
Excellent in depth review. Thank you. I guess that now I will just have to try them in my Walther LGU and see what they will do to rabbits, but I don't think that an expanding pellet through the brain, is going to be any more effective than a plain Diabolo. :D
Hey. Nice vid. But I'd like to say a bit. The Hades are the 18.13gr Diabolo Exact Jumbo Heavy. They go thru a special hollowpoint process in which the swage mold creates the fins which in turn are turned into the cavity to create the radioactive symbol. They were touted as a frangible pellet...only if they are shot over 900fps. Then they basically tear apart. They actually act more like a mechanical broadhead and open up, slicing into the target with total energy dump. I have had a few pass thru. I've had great results shooting them out of my Benjamin Maximus carbine with an 18" barrel. They average 730fps/18.80fpe. They are devastating. Unfortunately with sub 12fpe you won't see a lot of expansion. If you watch Tofazfou's vids you can see how they behave. Also, we at Predator International really appreciate you shooting our Polymags. They are nasty aren't they?
I finally got my hands on a tin of these, I’ve shot them through my S510 FAC and they are very accurate for 5.50 head size, as usual I’m getting one shot kills and straight pass throughs on the Crows and ferals up to and past 50yrds, so they get Pass marks from me. I’ll try them in my sub 12 R10 next and see how they work/kill through that !🏴
I'm not too surprised the Hades didn't expand much. I'd expect it to do even less on flesh. My Diana 350 Mag .22 does around 23 ft/lbs and even then the likes of the RWS Super H Point doesn't really expand properly on game.
I was gifted a tin of hades. Go through my rm8 uc lovely. Nice tight groups within and inch, a couple of flyers. But they are ripping the back of my range to shreds so I have high hopes in the field.
Thanks for this video. The Hades are just like centerfire pistol hollow points, they have to hit clay/gel etc at a fast enough speed or they won't mushroom. I am curious what that speed is.
Try the H&N Terminators if you want a good expander, much cheaper than any other metal spiked pellet and from the tests I've seen it is actually accurate, has great muzzle energy and is just the best hunting pellet overall.
The RWS field were killer. Some Diablos can punch straight through, but no squirrel or rat ever just ‘walked it off’ 😆🤘 I have to say I got some Hades, but so far not convinced by their accuracy in my particular rifle. I know the idea of dumping huge energy is appealing, but it has to be accuracy first for me.
Aup. Was gonna make a video on my scope cam but seems there is a video already available. Just look for fire wolf scope cam / mount. That guy basically said it all.
Well I am going to purchase some 22cal and run them thru my Hatsan Air Max , I been using 18.39 gr, JSB , 915 FPS and the 15.39gr jsb 940 FPS , awsome vidio nice Capatto .
Cant really see them expanding/ fragmenting at further distances either to be honest...I only purchased a tin to try them out for squirrel bashing so they great for that, but looking at the polymags defo worth a try...
Sub 12 guns are if you all excuse me, just pea shooters. Do not expect a sub 12 gun to mushroom a round head pellet. Good demonstration though. Thanks.
Good job on the video but right away I knew you would get these results. At sub 12 these pellets won’t do you any good, better to just have that accurate pellet to place that shot in the kill zone.
Hades need power to show their teeths in my Hatsan 135 they open like they should and are very accurate in countries that have power limit that pellet is not recommended
looks like they do fuck all, I will not be buying for my 12ftlb rifles, il stick with my AA fields for hft, and rws super point + rws powerball along with the AA fields for pest control
@malcolmdonnison3987 each person has different results and preferences, my experience with jsb is that h&n are more accurate, it could be the way I shoot, or my rifles or both??, I get decent results from Crossman as well

Thanks for a informative video, form the test results you got with your compato i would say they defiantly are worth a go, thanks again Cheers
Thank you, a good honest review. I really like the Hades, I have shot rats and squirrels with them and boy, do they do the job. Regards. Les.
Hades need more energy to expand well. sub 12fpe on the muzzel is no 12fpe at 40 yards. Thanks for your well done video. 👍
The same as you I was hoping for more . A sub 12 just can’t give them the zapp they need to work properly. In a high powered rifle I expect they will work well. Nice one chap. Mark Solware tv
I'll be giving them a go on some "moving targets" soon. Thanks.
just a heads up.the small e string from guitar will cut open your clay targets much better.

Very good review again, RWS Hobbies excellent, i think I'll try them in my R10.

More on flesh, the clay blocks it up so they don't rip appart
You need about 30-40 ftlb for expansion to happen so focus on what ever is the most accurate pellet for your sub 12 ftlb airgun
I`ll try them through my 32ft/lb. S510, I`m sure they`ll expand at that power.
I'll bet 😁😁
My S510 loves the 5.52 18gn. I guess i’ll need to run tests on all the head sizes once these become available.
I'll be giving them a go in my new 510 XS 32 f/p very soon.
Pete Mulhearn wish I would’ve had the xs oh well my classic s510 still shoots like new.
I will perform the detonation test in my huben K1

on the upside those of us not limited to sub 12 guns even my Crosman $100 Diamondback NP Elite SBD slings them a hair over 21FPE
These need to be shot at over 810 ft per sec to get the full benefits of the pellet. In my FAC Cricket at 30ft/lb they are unbelievable.
Yep, these need a powerful rifle to get the full expansion. Pcp kind of power or magnum springer probably could do it.
I use RWS Super Dome quite regular, great pellets. May have to try the SuperField too.
The RWS field were killer.
Some Diablos can punch straight through, but no squirrel or rat ever just ‘walked it off’
😆🤘

Different barrels and all that. The fields are crazy in my brocock. They are cheap too :)
Thanks for the video, buddy , have you made a video on your scope cam , what make how much etc cheers shane uk 🇬🇧
Havnt but can do.
Aup. Was gonna make a video on my scope cam but seems there is a video already available. Just look for fire wolf scope cam / mount. That guy basically said it all.
You keep following your shot. Keep the crosshairs on the center.
Well I am going to purchase some 22cal and run them thru my Hatsan Air Max , I been using 18.39 gr, JSB , 915 FPS and the 15.39gr jsb 940 FPS , awsome vidio nice Capatto .
Hades mite run to hot in your Hatsan.
If you want inside out, try the H&N Terminator. Out of a 14 ft lb Benjamin Marauder pistol into water they open up like your polymags.
I tried the hades yesterday shot into bars of soap and they did the same expanded a little bit,but those polymags certainly expand on impact...
Ok. So. Expansion over accuracy =?
@@airgunsandstuffyorkshire269 as I said only tried out to 20 yds atm,so next time I'm out i will try at further distance...
Cant really see them expanding/ fragmenting at further distances either to be honest...I only purchased a tin to try them out for squirrel bashing so they great for that, but looking at the polymags defo worth a try...
I've found the Poly Mags ok to 30 ish yards, beyond that lose accuracy for me.
They do make a nice thump sound when hitting a Squirrel:)
2 questions about the hades do you think they’re any good for shooting out of a springer ( bsa lightning) . What distance was the box away?
30 yards. Only one way to find out
hairy 1 did you try the hades? I have a bsa lightening xl se and use h&n baracuda hunter extreme 1.77
My F.A.C Daystate Loves em, Pigeons and Rabbits don,t though
😂😂
Light guessing,the M48/08 might stand for Mold 48,Batch 8...
Sub 12 guns are if you all excuse me, just pea shooters. Do not expect a sub 12 gun to mushroom a round head pellet. Good demonstration though. Thanks.
what was the ballistic coefficient for these hades at 12fp please ?
Good job on the video but right away I knew you would get these results. At sub 12 these pellets won’t do you any good, better to just have that accurate pellet to place that shot in the kill zone.
Plz make a video on Jsb heades in .177 8.43 grn accuracy and power test on 850 fps.
I will test the .177 but not at 850 fps.
@@airgunsandstuffyorkshire269 it's ok sir . Which pellet is most accurate and make more damage in .177 ?
Hades need power to show their teeths in my Hatsan 135 they open like they should and are very accurate in countries that have power limit that pellet is not recommended
Manufactured 46th week of 2008. Car tyres are dated the same...
what kind of cigarettes are those ?
unlabeled kind, with the green filling...
@@PogueMahone1 lol
That number refers to when they were made
Would like in. 30 cal
Nice gun.
Waiting for these in .25.
The haydes are a bit of a let down really, I’ll stick to the polymags
Where’s your videos gone man !
M46/08 means made week 46 in 2008 I guess
Is it a joint you smoking
No.
Month and year made is what that means.
when the hades hit bone they explode it,
Expanding at sub 12, unlikely.
Must give them ago 👍
6:45. 1you smoking mamajuana or what?
No. I smoke roll ups.
looks like they do fuck all, I will not be buying for my 12ftlb rifles, il stick with my AA fields for hft, and rws super point + rws powerball along with the AA fields for pest control
Silly Britt's... You need more power to have those Hades peel apart like they should.
No better than any other pellet in sub 12....
i shoot h & n pellets,, jsb's suck
H&n pellets are garbages crosman and jsb are a lot better than those dirty h&n
@@aceofspades1002 we all have our likes, Crossman are not bad, I wouldn't piss on jsb if they were on fire
I have tried h&n and they don't kill cleanly at at all 😮 whereas, hades are one shot kill 👍
