As a Zennial, these videos make me feel like the youngest Gen X person ever. Leave your dog at home (or at least in your own office) and learn language registers.
Disclaimer: There was one time that a young faculty member bringing their dog to work made sense - the dog had been body-slammed by another dog while running on ice, had a spinal injury, and had to be constantly monitored. Doggo lived in the office during working hours for a while. But that's also known as extenuating circumstances.

All of the people who got their foot in the door after Jim Crow and the civil rights movement have been slandered, forced out, jailed, or just died of old age. Its like when people talk about their adult kids "the boy needs to make mistakes..." SIR HE'S 23, HE'S A GROWN MAN.

I despise it when people can't use any other word to describe a dog besides "doggo"...
I'm not saying I've never said it myself, but people overuse the ever living hell out of it to the point where I start to sincerely question their intelligence. So I can highly relate to this video's ending!!! LMFAO 😂

I have heard it once said, that the day you truly become an adult is the day you stop using the term, 'adulting.'

the wildly broken glasses is so accurate lmaooo. my dad would just wear his glasses however he could see out of them best until he HAD to get a new pair. once, one of the arms was nearly on the top of his head and the other was below his opposite ear. I drove him to the eye doctor so they could adjust them without breaking them. (also Tenured Boomer Professor is a near carbon copy of my dad, so A+ work on nailing the boomer look lmaooo)

I usually like these skits cause they're very relatable and you usually know someone who fits the mold of the character, but this one doesn't do it for me. Never in my life have I met a millennial professor who would act like this. As someone who is currently in graduate school, there's not one of my colleagues who would be this immature. Maybe that's just me though 🤷‍♀

As an elder millennial who went back to university a few years ago, one thing I noticed is that every single one of my millennial professors stuffed their lectures full of old memes, even older slang, and 90's pop culture references. In other words, they did a thing.

TO BE FAIR. I only use words like smol bean and doggo among certain peers in informal situations. I'd never use them when talking to a colleague.
