It's not true that no dad is better than a bad dad. Any type of bio dad, besides physically or sexually abusive bio dad, is better than no dad. But it's true that no dad is better than a step dad. Studies show that separation, no matter the reason, is more traumatic for children than staying in a hostile home environment. That's just how traumatic it is to go from having both Bio parents around to either having 2 homes with a single parent in each home or just having one, usually the mother. But a single parent is gonna be now extra stressed about everything cuz they havr no help (when parents are together, the man usually helps in some way, but common is either financial or machine chores and women help with dishes etc and of course the kids) and the parents are less available for them because they has to work more to make ends meet. The order of what's best to what's worst for kids is: a good bio dad, bad bio dad (not around much, a little too authoritarian, doesn't help around the house, etc but not like physically or sexually abusive type of bad) no dad abusive bio dad Step dad And worst for kids is a bf/gf of the single parent, cuz that could change a lot and there's no real stability for them to be able to rely on This is a general thing though it's not going to apply to every single family situation.

Yea it makes sense. What he’s saying and is toxic. But at the same time you can’t fault someone for not dating people with kids. The kids will always be in the picture, and it is a lot of responsibility, not to mention potentially raising the kid after marriege, the ex being In the picture etc.
It's not true that no dad is better than a bad dad. Any type of bio dad, besides physically or sexually abusive bio dad, is better than no dad. But it's true that no dad is better than a step dad. Studies show that separation, no matter the reason, is more traumatic for children than staying in a hostile home environment. That's just how traumatic it is to go from having both Bio parents around to either having 2 homes with a single parent in each home or just having one, usually the mother. But a single parent is gonna be now extra stressed about everything cuz they havr no help (when parents are together, the man usually helps in some way, but common is either financial or machine chores and women help with dishes etc and of course the kids) and the parents are less available for them because they has to work more to make ends meet.
The order of what's best to what's worst for kids is:
a good bio dad,
bad bio dad (not around much, a little too authoritarian, doesn't help around the house, etc but not like physically or sexually abusive type of bad)
no dad
abusive bio dad
Step dad
And worst for kids is a bf/gf of the single parent, cuz that could change a lot and there's no real stability for them to be able to rely on
This is a general thing though it's not going to apply to every single family situation.

This mentality has destroyed your community. Children need good fathers. Desperately. Your community refuses to accept this truth even though there is no other minority group in the developed world that is even remotely as dysfunctional as yours.

I'm sure if you have anything in particular you're curious about you or don't believe you could Google it in some way and find a source. Honestly if I had the time I'd try to find some for us but I don't. Already spent too much of the rare and previous free time I get every day, typing that comment and this one. I'm a mom to 3 under 3, one with autism, so I don't have time to do anything except keeping them fed, their diapers changed, making sure they get sleep when they need it (incl naps), keeping the house from becoming too dirty by finishing chores every night, then I get an hour before I need to sleep so that I'm able to wake up and feed my youngest a couple times a night, but I usually fall asleep early cuz I'm exhausted then I wake up at 6am and I start it all over again. So I regretfully can't gather those sources for you at this time
