- So, with the recent release of Spider-Man 2, I knew we needed to cover it, however not until we finish todays game. Spiderman Miles Morales! In this Peter takes a break and leaves Miles in charge as New York's only Spiderman! However how will grinding all of the trophies go? Well let's find out!

They're both great games and I honestly like Miles, but for me Peter will always be THE Spider-Man. Miles is a good Spider-Man too, but Peter will forever be my one and only love.

I have a voice acting background and have to say that Yuri Lowenthal's performance has been such an inspiration for me since the Prince of Persia Trilogy. The vocal training was really tough, sometimes without noticeable results for months but actors like him and the late Kevin Conroy are a great impulse to not give up. You almost saw me as Leon in those new RE games :)

Honestly amazing video Jazzy, now not sure if you're taking Platinum suggestions but i'd recommend the Borderland's series. I've done the Platinum on the first two and it's a little grindy and may require one of each 'class' but it's a fun time~
Anyway amazing video, keep it up. Also looking forward to Spirderman 2 vid.

I remember 100% this game, the side option of taking no damage in a car chase was a beating
Its easy to cheese if you camo. The car takedowns dont take you out of it
I finally played the game in preperation for Spider-Man and for me it was somewhere between 7/10 and 7,5/10.
Don't get me wrong, I had a good time with it, but some things I liked were also things I felt were a bit lacking.
Phin as the Tinkerer and the whole story with lots of drama involved wasn't bad, it just felt a bit underwhelming when you compare it to Peter with Rhino, Vulture, Shocker, Mr. Negative, Doctor Octopus, Scorpion and Fisk.
Another thing that you mentioned is that it's quite short if you take all the side stuff away which I'm not that fond of in general. Sure it helped because they forced the NG+ into the mix, but other than that ... not a big fan of that.
Last but not least he's just Miles for me. I really liked him as a character in all three games, but at the end of the day he is A Spider-Man, but Peter is THE Spider-Man for me.
That being said, to me it felt like they made the web swinging even better and his "catapult" moves to get around the city feel really smooth.

It is funny, although it did result in the spider-verse films not including him as much to avoid comparison.

Alas haven't had the chance to play either. I do hope you'll have as much fun with with Neir Automata if you ever do it, has a really interesting plot once you start getting into the alternate new game cycles and some reeeaaaly nice combat.

I really wish he would have gotten more specific as to what he didn't like about the story, to be honest. I'm curious what 'scenarios' he didn't buy, why, that kind of thing.
So it wasn't something specific, I just think that a lot of what Phin did she did just for the sake of being a 'villain'. The surprises we're very predicatable and i just don't think it was Insomniacs best work, i feel like everyone was making stupid decisions.

wtf is wrong with the framerate, spider boy seems to be running at 24fps while the rest of the game runs at 60.
It's meant to! Some of Miles' suits were inspired/taken from Into the Spiderverse which is designed at 24fps. So Insomniac kept the environment at 60fps and the suit animations at 24fps to commit to the OG material. I personally think it's super cool!
The open world is better than Spiderman 2 for sure.....
