This is the ghoul's night out Suffer unto me Devils born in angels' arms Ghouls in heaven's fall This is the ghoul's night out All ghouls go to hell Humans held on eating flesh It's my destiny
'“Better to reign in Hell, then serve in Heav'n.” “Long is the way and hard, that out of Hell leads up to Light.” Hell is not for eternity. Indeed the safest road to Hell is the gradual one-the gentle slope, soft underfoot, without sudden turnings, without milestones, without signposts." - John Milton -
My favorite part of this is that all the clips from Night of the Ghouls look like they were recorded for a music video spoofing a horror movie like in the video for Psycho by Puddle of Mudd, but it really was from a horror movie that was meant to be taken seriously.
early misfits (like this; their recordings prior to 1983's earth AD) are kinda similar to the ramones (try their first 3 albums: Ramones, Leave Home, Rocket to Russia). Other cool punk bands that have an early rock n' roll vibe (or bands that blended punk and early rn'r), besides the cramps who were great, include the meteors, demented are go, early tiger army, social distortion, X, sloppy seconds, the queers, groovie ghoulies, blitzkid, mister monster, undertones, buzzcocks, early damned, new york dolls, johnny thunders and the hearbreakers, the blasters, horrorpops, reverend horton heat. the preceding is a mixed bag including some early punk, ramones inspired bands ("ramonescore"), misfits inspired bands ("horror punk"), and psychobilly (punk/50s rock hybrid).
Don't see how he could write a song about a movie that wasn't even released until the 90's. Wood couldn't pay the lab bill and it sat in the lab for years even after his death until Wade Williams picked it up.
This for some reason seems wholesome as hell. As wholesome as as the Misfits can get.
Yeah considering the lyrics
Hell is where you want to be
I feel the hell on you and me
I feel it every day
The Misfits never dies ♥
This is the ghoul's night out
Suffer unto me
Devils born in angels' arms
Ghouls in heaven's fall
This is the ghoul's night out
All ghouls go to hell
Humans held on eating flesh
It's my destiny
Best band ever
Legendary band.. legendary song
This is one of my favorite punk rock songs. :)
2 people imploded from the awesomeness of this video.

I still love this nice editing work ❤
Brilliant!
Me love the misfits very long time
Criswell was at the beginning of Plan 9 From Outer Space also.
Looks like Tor Johnson was in both also.
Criswell also acted in Orgy of The Dead (1965), for me it's Wood's most beautifully shot movie
Damn, it's _so_ infections.
Does punk like this exist outside of the Misfits? I love that weird 50's element to it.
The cramps?
I'll give 'em a try, thanks.
No problem man :)
