Hey Tony. Thank you for responding to my question from last week. An update about my rose gold Oyster Flex Daytona. Bought it for 33k plus tax November 2024 and with the new price increase on gold it is now 38k! So I am thrilled, happy and jumping up and down for that huge save.🎉 Also I'm in Atlanta GA, not Arkansas lol 😂 my AD is located 40 mins away from Atlanta, a small town called Cumming GA. Maybe finding an AD far away from a big city may be better. Thank you and take care! Cheers to Paco the feline champ!
Tony, I thought I had heard it all until this first question tonight…! Buy what the hell YOU like…! Mercy!… You handled that beautifully….! I saw that video with Federico and the Zenith Pilot… I love that watch and was thinking the same thing, boring but awesome took watch!… Another cool video Tony…💯👍 Greg
Hi Tony, you’re absolutely right that the meteorite GMT goes mostly unnoticed. Wore mine vacationing in Europe last year and it didn’t draw attention. It’s the least legible of my watches though. Depending on lighting and angles those hands disappear into the dial. Cheers, and Happy New Year!!
Thanks for addressing the question Tony. I should have added that the min. hand gradually advances to the next min. It just makes the full rotation by 55 seconds. I’m going to monitor it more and will reach out to my AD def before the warranty expires. Thanks. Hope you have a great weekend!
Happy weekend! Just got my 1957 Rolex Zephyr yesterday. It is a small vintage OP at a very modest price, but it houses the mighty 1030 movement that you find in the Submariner Big Crowns. And it wears completely under the radar (leather strap).
Hey Tony. Follow up to the Piaget Polo question. Tried it on this week and it’s HUGE. Had no idea it was as big as it was. At the same time I tried on the Chopard Alpine Eagle and that watch was amazing, and fitted like a dream! Healthy happy new year Tony!
Tony, I thought I had heard it all until this first question tonight…! Buy what the hell YOU like…! Mercy!… You handled that beautifully….! I saw that video with Federico and the Zenith Pilot… I love that watch and was thinking the same thing, boring but awesome tool watch!… Pepsi Ameteorite all day long…..! Another cool video Tony…💯👍 Greg
Hey Tony, love tuning in to your Q and A's. My qu this time: Where do you sell your watches? And where do you figure out the price that you want for it?
Tony another great video, thanks for answering my Santos ADLC question. A couple of your viewers responded to how the finish wears, so I really appreciate the feedback from your viewers who actually wear the watch. Best wishes for 2025.
I own the Cartier Santos ADLC and I have yet to see any scratches or wear. I think it would take a monumental smack into something hard like steel to really damage the coating.
Thank you for taking the time to respond. I'm glad to hear, that it's really is a very durable coating. I really appreciate the feedback from people actually wearing the watch. Best wishes for 2025.
To the guy with the speedmaster, I have the same one possibly even the same year. On mine the minute counter clicks over right at 60 seconds. I wouldn't like what yours is doing either, even though it's still doing the job. I would take it in man👍 At least you're still well within the warranty period
Hi Tony! Stumbled on your channel & stayed because you're REAL as F. What's your story? Obviously music, you mentioned having your own watch brand, etc. Love what you're doing. Keep it up!
Hi Tony! I like your Zenith Pilot great everyday watch. Legible and similar looking to the Aquanaut.👍Tony been looking at Benzinger Gap 1 Special Edition pre owned. Any thoughts on Benzinger?
Hi Tony. thanks for addressing my Q&A on GMT meteorite versus day date. Awesome and helpful. Thanks. Once I get it 😄😄I will let you know. In the meantime your question on the Daytona Pikachu no very difficult to read. 😅 versus 1908! HNY!
For the Pilot from Montreal… Sir you are a professional pilot. Just show up to any AD either your uniform on, and they will get you a GMT. Rolex loves to sell to professionals that will use their timepieces in real life. You shouldn’t have a difficult time getting a GMT from your local AD. Other alternatives would be pre-owned Rolex GMT. New Tudor GMT’s or any other brand outside Patek AP should be easy to get. Good luck
I can't recall if you still have the brown Santos? I really like the medium Santos brown and green dials. It's easy to loose enthusiasm during the Rolex waitlist process, currently waiting for the OP 36 green. From your experience of both models what advice might you offer and specifically which do you feel is the more special watch? Also, I've been looking at the Farer Milan (green dial on black leather), looks killer, what do you think? Cheers.
The market value of the rose gold Daytona on an oysterflex sells for a premium. If your viewer wants to sell it for cost price with tax I will buy it. I have a yellow gold one( Pikachu). They are the best wearable precious metal daytona cuz they don’t have the same weight of the bracelet. Happy new year!! Always good to watch your Friday videos cuz it shows what other viewers are thinking and how you interact with their questions.
Thank you! Initially I asked for the white gold Daytona on the oyster flex, but when my AD called and offered the rose gold instead I said yes quickly and headed there asap. The store was full of people cause it was the next day after Thanksgiving.. the funny story is I only had half of the money and the rest was financed with 0% from them directly 😂
@@christianb.4517 man please introduce me to your AD!! The offer if still on! I’m not sure where you’re located, but I’m willing to fly to you to pick it up. I’m not saying that the rose gold is going to fetch the same premium like the white gold( the ghost) or the yellow gold( the pikachu), however it’s still a stunning piece of art and worth the money.
@@talkingtimepieceswithtony I can’t believe what I’m reading Tony! My dealer gives me two hours to make up my mind on expensive pieces and 24 hours to wire the money.
Thanks for the video Tony! Always enjoy your Q&As and all your videos for that matter. Regarding the last question (Omega Speedmaster) I had the exact same response as you when you first read it. However, I am now thinking perhaps the person that asked the question is talking about when the chronograph is started, and the sub-dial tracking minutes clicks over before the chronograph hand reaches one full revolution. In any case, like you suggested, under warranty, take it to get checked out. Happy New Years and hope for a healthy 2025 for you!
I have the wssa0037 santos- it has the DLC bezel (stainless case). I chose this because I love the santos but saw from everyone they were scratch magnets so I went with the dlc bezel model. I have had it for a couple years now and I have not scratched the bezel yet 🤙🏻 hope this helps anyone who was curious
I have a Piaget Polo S chronograph with the blue dial. It’s a beautiful watch, thin for a chronograph at just over 11mm and is a bargain especially on the secondary market. While Nautilus inspired it’s not an integrated bracelet and actually is more inspired by Piaget’s own Emperador model
Hey Tony! What are your thoughts on H. Moser and Cie watches? I think they make very unique watches in the quiet luxury style. I've been considering a Pioneer model from them as a next watch and wonder if you've ever tried on anything from them before.
Hey Tony, appreciate channel and look forward to q and a fridays for long commute after work (in mexico) , question, i have always avoided gold due to attention grabbing and flag waving that screams rob me as you say., i due like two tone, but bluesy yellow gold seems too flashy, and black dial seems overkill, would rather just get regular no date, but to scratch itch of having some gold, whats your opinion on yacht master 40, or omega bronze gold heritage 300, to go a little more discrete, or would you look elsewhere. Keep up the dinamics in channel, and keeping it real, saludos!
About the GMTs... I usually love Sinn, but their GMTs aren't that great. The Sinn 6060 B is quite smart looking. Sinn watches are often really sturdy and have both high pressure resistance and low pressure resistance. Ball has some nice offerings. Engineer III Jet-Set GMT gives you classical GMT looks, great shock resistance and okay anti-magnetic properties. Engineer III Hurricane Hunters has a more subtle 24h feature, but has the holy grail feature that is the countdown bezel. More often than not you aren't looking for how long you can stay under water, but how long do you have time until you have to be somewhere. My choice has been Longines Spirit Zulu Time, because it's such a versatile piece. The latter Ball would have been great however. Quite often while flying as a passenger, you have to be at a gate at some time, catch a train or something. I do not want a really expensive watch while travelling, but if I could be certain that it would not get stolen, the Glashütte Original Senator Cosmopolite would be my dream watch, because it can handle 35 timezones marked by IATA codes. That includes the 15 and 30 minute offset zones! It's also a stunner visually and gives you high horology features like hand finishing and a sick inhouse caliber. As a practical feature, it also has a amagnetic silicon hairspring.
Federico is the classic example of someone whose probably been unpopular and bullied most of his life (due to his appearance). Now that he's had success and became popular he thinks he's the next coming of Hans Wilsdorf 😂 I'm sure we've all met people like that in our lives!
@talkingtimepieceswithtony, please do a video on Gerald Genta the fraud. I hear his name all the time with reverence like a deity, and I would love to hear a different opinion from someone i consider a straight shooter. Thanks, Tony!
Used to think Fredrico was just nerdy which was ok and made him seem likeable as that didn’t bother me but slowly I have realised he is nerdy but the worst kind, he’s a douche nerd. 🤦♂️

Norqain Neverest GMT is a nice watch. They use Kinesse movements, and own two different Norqain models (one being the GMT).
Norqain are great. I checked them out in Nashville.
Meteorite Pepsi is less noticeable than the stainless steel one. Could be because of the oyster bracelet and white dial
Definitely! 🤙🤙
