SCAR SYMMETRY's PER NILSSON performs at the Randall / Sound Service booth at Musikmesse 2013

- I performed as a Randall artist at this year's Musikmesse in Frankfurt. For this performance, I used Randall's RD45 head. I started out by doing some dorian improvisation, after which I play the 'Training Montage' theme from the soundtrack of 'Rocky IV'.
From playing Rocky to MESHUGGAH!

Per is becoming one of my favorite modern metal guitarists along with Jakub Zytecki. Tasteful phrasing and very relaxed shredding.

Jakub was my favourite modern guitarrist since 2010 to some years back from now.... is so sad for me to see and hear the change of style of Jakub, he just become another guitarrist, he is not enymore what he used to be. So I'm sorry but Jakub passed from heaven to hell... at least for me :(
I met him iat the Namm and asked him if he was thinking to return to his musical origins, he said no, he is completely focused in his new popy style.
i dont listen to guitar players much but when i do i listen to Per Nilsson
I was shredding at Randall Booth. At NAMM. And I had a beard.....??!? Then I woke up from the dream and realized it was Yoda Master Per Nilsson doing it. 😂
As I watched this a tear ran down my cheek, it reminded me of Shawn Layne. Per you are a legend!

This is probably the best playing I've seen/heard Per do... Absolutely incredible playing and amazing sounding. Awesome riffs, and fantastic solos.
There is going to be a ton of Rocky training montages solos now. Great work Per.
Such melodic control. It is everything I have aspired to be able to play myself, ever since hearing Marty Friedman for the first time, and now we have Per to take it to the next step.

Yeah his phrasing on the axe is some of the best I've heard, he seems to hear music in such a different way than most musicians. After 25 years of playing I am a novice by comparisonl. Ugh

You are a tremendous player and your stuff is just so nice to listen to. As some stated about the Rocky vibe I agree to the fullest. This is a strong piece and the phrasing is so good I have to steal some of your stuff later on =) Cheers
