"Per Nilsson is a Swedish guitarist and producer. He is best known as one of the founding members of the melodic death metal/progressive metal band Scar Symmetry and for being the touring lead guitarist for Meshuggah during Fredrik Thordendal's 2017-2021 hiatus. He is also the guitarist for Swedish progressive rock group Kaipa and since 2017 he is the lead guitarist for Swedish power metal band Nocturnal Rites."

Sometimes I feel Per is oblivious to how great he is....I never felt so exited about every note coming from a guitar player since Marty Friedman(megadeth years) or Alex Skolnick (testament golden era). Per is on par with those two....probably higher......an astonishing level of taste and phrasing

I go by ear first and finish with theory. It's good for soling but I am the world's worst at jamming.
They say Michael Angelo Batio is the fastest guitarist. This is not true. Rusty Cooley is the fastest guitarist that has ever lived.
Hmmmmm! I don’t think this is how to write a solo. I feel this is “who can play the fastest” haha!
Then you missed the spot, it was really interresting to hear them talk about the creative process instead of the technicality of soloing
Crazy part is, this is slow for them.
