Dan's opinions shared in this video are supported by verified facts (whether scientific or general) and they should be treated as just that: opinions. All critique and humour are addressed to the words and actions of individuals and not to the individuals themselves, under the Act of Free Speech.
A co-worker of mine and his small group of 5 have all stopped being flat earthers as a result of the Final Experiment.

It's amazing. For years, the flerfs have said things like 'see for yourself', 'do your own research', etc. Now that 2 of their community have gone to see for themselves, they've been ostracised and ridiculed.
Ostracized and ridiculed by people who didn’t do it themselves to boot.

you can't expect logic from someone that thinks gravity is fake - space is fake - & an invisible dome is real
Are they upside down? Or downside up
Because Australia doesn't exist. Someone took a lot of drugs, got super high, and we got Australia. Anyone who thinks they are in Australia is just tripping balls from too many mushrooms in Idaho. The accent? Koalas? Conspiracy exposed. Not a single so-called "Australian" has been able to explain or justify the existence of Fosters. 24.5 oz?? WTF? Stoned, tripping, and drunk. The Final Experiment paid off and a flat earther changed his mind. Amazing! I never thought that would happen.

Kaleb surprised me, he even joined McToon and myself on a stream once we were back in Punta Arenas and he was defending Austin & Jeran
Hmmmm, indeed surprising. Maybe he is looking for the last opportunity to leave the cult in dignity. However, the extreme arrogance he constantly showed in his videos makes it really hard to believe, that he'll ever admit that he was wrong.
Heartbreaking, terrible person makes an alright point.
Dave! Thank You very much for doing this experiment!!! I loved every bit of it and really and truly appreciated how everyone was able to be cordial, courteous and helpful to each other even with such vastly different viewpoints. I think that is possibly the most important lesson to learn from this experiment: People need to interact face-to-face, not via internet posts. Humans have evolved to read and respond to other humans responses. If we don't have all of those cues, we can't form a proper opinion.
I think that Kaleb looks up to Witsit quite a lot. It might be due to the common interest they share for a very particular period of German history (from 1933-1945).
He's just playing both sides, i wouldn't believe a thing that guy says, but admitting what he did was a shock, kind of.
If Caleb got his wish and split the flat earth community into "people who use logic to deduce what's going on" and "the other r-slurs" there would still be only one flat earth community.
you'd need to split it into three groups, Logic's, R's, and Grifters, that way you would have two distinct classifications of Flerfs
@ yes. Grifters and grifted are the only two types.
To be fair, there are flerfers who talk from deep ignorance but who are at their core scientifically minded (in their own weird way).
And then you have the crazies (often Christian fundamentalists) who just talk about how everything is a conspiracy from the Lizard people.
Good comment! I see what you did there: There's no such thing as a flerf who uses logic to deduce what's going on. 😉
@@jimb8738 Well there could be, but that are the guys who will not be flerfs for long, because of using logic. In hindsight I would put e.g. Ranty into that group, when he still was a flat earther.

Ah, the classic "Female skull" rebuttal. These guys really know their stuff.

@@pookie2986 yeah no surprise that their pseudoscience extends to things outside of flat earth.
Actually, the flat earth model does predict a 24-hour sun in antarctica. The trouble is that it should be every day, and the rest of the world should have 24 hours of sun as well.
true that :D
Indeed. However, day/night because reasons. But it isn't just a 24 hour sun in Antarctica in December, it's one that circles 360 degrees around the observer, at a constant 15 degrees per hour rate, with an angular elevation precisely predictable from the time of day and your latitude (have you seen MCToon's 24 hour Antarctic sun-dial video yet?) with no change in apparent angular size (look for Dave McKeegan's 24 hour sun-spot video).
None of this is even remotely possible on any conception of a flat earth, because of optics and geometry, no matter how many domes or super-fluid mirrors you throw at it. Not at the very least without confirming your point, that you then do away with night completely.
There is nothing about flat earth that makes any sense, nothing at all. Anyone with a second functioning brain cell would see through it in about ten minutes.
One model of Flat Earth that explains daylight schedule requires a reverse spotlight where one part of the Earth is in darkness and the rest of the area around it is in sunlight. The more evidence that is presented; the more illogical and impossible scenarios are invented by that community.
I've never understood how the sun is supposed to behave as a spotlight instead of a ball of light in the flat Earth model. Any time I've heard it explained, it was usually some variation of "Because it just is."
@@BKScience812 Even if it behaved as a spotlight, it would still be visible across the whole of the disc. Just bright directly underneath.

As a retired teacher, I fully agree. I saw a lot of kids that thought all they had to do was take up space in the classroom and they'd go on to the next grade.
@Pete_R63 I see a lot of cheating in my classes. I have always felt that if students put half as much effort into studying as they put into cheating, they wouldn't need to cheat.
@ I fully agree, they spend more time trying to figure out ways to beat the system than it takes to just do the work. Cheers
They never went to school😂
The greatest minds in all of flerf appear to be: a former taxi driver, a security guard, a yoga instructor, crane operator, and a few stoners. In the last 10-15 years, the collective intellect of these geniuses have not been able to provide a single point of evidence to support a flat earth - not one.
Jeran made a very good point in his live stream, along the lines of "the flat earth community have been unable to progress their position in the last 10 or more years".
On this he is completely correct. They've come up with statements of incredulity like "can't feel movement", "spiny wet ball", etc; some catchy phrases like "we see too far", "it measures flat", "there is no 24 hour sun in Antarctica (oops)", etc. Collectively they have produced zero evidence for a flat earth and have failed to explain common phenomena that is easily accounted for by the globe model.
Why are there no pilots, ship captains (or pretty much anyone that has ever worked on a ship), civil engineers, architects, surveyors, astronomers, geologists, mathematicians, physicists, astronauts, just about anyone that finished high school in the flat earth community?
Great comment. I try to inject this fact when replying to Flat Earthlings, by asking why, as a community, are they SOOO lazy and never DO anything?
The nearest thing to an 'experiment' is "we see too far" pictures...to which I ask how far could/would/should we see, then point out we can see the sun, and as it hovers over the Flat and 'sets' because it's too far away, what is that distance?
Answer...(still waiting)😂🤔
There are flerf pilots. I've seen a few videoss with them. I'd hate to know they were flying the plane I was in.

I did have one give the 3000 miles high BS and when we did the math the sun was about 30 degrees above the horizon at sunset!!! (I said 'we' because I made them agree to how a triangle is measured).
In another case the observer's viewpoint is considered and in order for the sun to 'set' over a flat plane it would have to be 343,780 miles away!!!!
Math don't lie!!

Confusion in the flat Earth community all around the globe. Time zones were enough to prove to me that the Earth was a globe when I was ten years old.
Weirdly I think time zone would be one of the few things that do work on a flat earth
I had a Flat Earthling ask about time zones and why there are more 'zones' in the Southern hemisphere (He was correct, I think it was 32 or so).
My answer, after a quick look on the net, was that governments of different countries can do 'time' however they want!!! However, this will NOT change the 24 hour or 15 degree per hour cycles of the sun.
He didn't like that as the 'gotcha' he was expecting had nothing to do with reality!!!
Regarding the mountains: It is also worth mentioning, that they are QUITE a bit away from the camp (according to everyone involved) and you wouldn't be able to see minor changes/differences at this distance.
I just noticed your "15 degrees per hour (thanks Bob)" clock on the wall behind you! Love it!

@@salohcinnosnah6379 I'm glad. It was the most succinct description I could think of without locking the guy up 😂
Well done to Jeran for his honesty and willingness to accept the evidence even if it was probably harder for him to do so.
I'm not surprised at some people who went on the trip giving up on Flat Earth. I work with young people, who for various reasons have had little to no schooling. You'd be shocked at how far behind the curve that puts them. What they are categorically _not_ is stupid or unwilling to learn (basically, I wouldn't be working with them if they were). Even teenagers can start to soak up information they should have picked up when they were three or four. Yes, it's hard work for them, but by no means impossible. Now, if someone has had Flat Earth ingrained in their thinking by fair means or foul (mostly foul), they _can_ learn that it is erroneous, often very quickly. I am not surprised that people who are prepared to go and see for themselves have the ability to adjust their point of view.
On the other hand, those who start calling them vile names because they've learnt from their experience are beyond contempt, to put it mildly.
I find it hard to sympathise for Jeran. He helped create this cult that turned on him.
I definetely feel you there.
While I support his change of mind and while I strongly support that this should be encouraged,
he's definetely getting a taste of his own medicine
Cult? It would be nice if you knew the definition of the term "A group that has an authoritarian leader who doesn't allow questions or critical thinking." I think 'Jeran' will revert back after he realizes that're too many issues with the globe model.
I think the globe heads are the ones who need a reality check. Why? 2 major globe Issues: 1) Show me ONE experiment where trillion tons of water sticks to a globe using gravity or even a science paper on how water to sticks to a globe. 2) Why does our atmosphere remain intact, with the vacuum of space which surrounds it? Please name ONE science experiment which proves this globe hypothesis. Did you know that FE model already solves two of these issues; just add water with a dome.... LOL.
I respect his having the guts to actually put it on the line and go to Antarctica, unlike all the other cowards. Assuming he was a true believer, he must have thought he would probably see some kind of shenanigans going on to try to fool him. When that didn't happen, he was prepared to admit that and say exactly what he'd seen, despite the backlash he knew would come. Respect for that. But there's a certain reaping the whirlwind element here. He helped create the community that's turned on him now and he needs to take responsibility for that. So he's not suddenly a hero.
Where's Jeran's apology for all the ridicule he flung at people?
We could just appreciate that he admitted he was wrong, leave it with that and move on.

Hi Dan, great video series… I’ve been following the Vendeé Globe 2024/5 solo yacht race which is just in its final stages.. There were 45 starters in November 2024 and the first two competitors have just crossed the finish line in LeSables d’Lonne in France. Competitors sail single handed, non-stop, around the globe from west to east, returning to the same point. The route takes them from the Bay of Biscay, south past the Canaries and Azores, across the equator into the south Atlantic, passing the cape of good hope (South Africa) around the Southern Ocean/Indian Ocean, passing south of Australia, continuing east to eventually round Cape Horn (South America) to then head north again passed the Falkland Islands and back into the northern hemisphere… this year Charlie Dalin won the race knocking 9 days of the previous record, in 64 days and 9+ hours… he was averaging around 17-18 knots under sail… they circumnavigated Antarctica whilst racing outside of the ice exclusion zone to prevent the risk of colliding with icebergs. There is a wealth of gps tracking data and weather routing data which each team was using to determine their race strategies around the numerous weather and ocean conditions throughout the race… this race cannot work over the elapsed time achieved on the flat earth map! Indeed the weather systems and routing data couldn’t work in respect of routing to achieve (what is known in yacht racing) the best ‘velocity made good’ (VMG). VMG is the best speed being made towards a waypoint (or ‘mark’). If the trajectory of a boat’s race line on a globe gets flattened out onto the flat earth map, the routing gets longer, particularly the further south we go! This is just another example of how delusional the flat earth protagonists are in insisting that all of the evidence proving the reality of our planet is some sinister conspiracy.
I applaud those guys who are able to accept the evidence of reality that they experienced first hand and have now logically accepted the reality of the globe. Those who are now looking for (no, inventing!) anomalous discrepancies in desperation to hang onto their flerfism should now be soundly lampooned for being Emperors without clothes!
I had a discussion with a Flat Earthling concerning Antartica the continent vs Antartica the ice wall of doom. I pointed out the world records by the sailors and the average speeds obtained, but the ice wall would require a sailboat to do over 1000 miles per hour!!!
He had the audacity to claim 'they' were in on 'it' as well!!! Goes to show there's no reasoning with 'flawgic'.
Again: “You just can’t fix stupid.”
Hans Wormhat feels vindicated-there were no penguins in the time lapse, and that's evidence that penguins don't exist.
Damn you are right. And I thought it was evidence they were not in a zoo. But this means all those penguins I have seen in a zoo, are CGI. Damn you NASA!
🚨 Viewers across the world can now see the planet parade of 2025! Here's how 👇🏻
As the twilight fades to darkness, look toward the southwestern horizon. There, you’ll spot Venus and Saturn appearing close together. Venus, the brighter of the two, will be unmissable.
Higher in the sky, you’ll find Jupiter, the second brightest speck of light in the night sky after Venus. Jupiter recently passed its opposition, making this one of the best times of the year to observe the gas giant with the naked eye.
Near the eastern horizon, Mars will shine brightly with its signature red hue, making it a captivating sight in the night sky. January is the best month of the year to observe the Red Planet, as it will steadily grow brighter leading up to its closest approach to Earth in over two years. On January 15, Mars will be at opposition. This means the planet will lie opposite the Sun and shine brightly throughout the night.
Uranus will be positioned near Jupiter, and Neptune will be close to Venus and Saturn. You will need optical aid to see both these ice giants as their magnitude is beyond the naked eye limit.

What Flerfers Say: I want to debate you.
What They Really Mean: I would like to whip out all the fancy fallacy phrases I misunderstood, present shoddy evidence that demonstrates my complete lack of knowledge of basic geometry and math while finding out how many ways I can call you a shill or a liar.
They are still crying about it. Next they will throw their P900s out of the pram. Thanks Dan.
I love the conspiracy theory that flat earth is a psyop by Nikon to get people to buy the P900.
Regarding the two images of Mt Rossman, there are some very slight differences in the snow (ice) and rock patterns but you have to look carefully to find them. The temperature at which the snow would be falling, the likely angle of the slope and the wind speed during snowfall would mean that new snow would not just lie on the rock and cover parts of it. The only areas that would collect snow and ice would be the gullies and cracks in the rocks, and those won't change over a century or more, far less eight years.
Don’t Flerfs realize it’s cheaper to film on location at Antartica than rent out a studio and get a hollywood director and crew with a set and CGI budget. I don’t think they understand the gravity of the situation 😂
One thing I didn't expect was how much of a fissure this would create in the flat earth community. Definitely didn't have "Flerfers go mental and spout transphobia" on my bingo card.
flerfs and terfs.
Really? Going mental and being transphobic, homophobic, and anti-Semitic is all in a day's work for them.
Why? They've been calling Dan trans for years. (LOL)

I wonder how many of them "did their own research" and actually watched 24 hours of a sunny sky. It's hilarious that they demand all this proof but once it's there, you know none of them actually looked at it.
Great coverage - this isn't even THE final experiment - its just one of many that buries the flat earth. Next up - AFE Another Final Experiment - rising / falling shadows at sunset / sunrise.
Sunset and sunrise generally. Otherwise known as The First Experiment.
They’re all basically grasping at straws. If they want to debunk any footage then they should go there themselves, otherwise just shut up 🤐
If they did that it would end their con.
Then how would they get their free trips to space?
@@garcardosotan6172 Using the biggest catapult that we can find. Flerfs won't need any protection, oxygen tanks or anything because they don't believe in space or gravity. If somehow, they managed to survive the trip at least the flerf would be a long way away... :)
I suggest that any flerfs in North America go on a trip to Havana around the June solstice. They can try to take photos of Key West about 100 miles to the north over the sea and at the same time observe the Sun. It will rise due East, rise to directly overhead and set due West. As it does this it will be observed that it travels at 15° per hour, does not change size and moves in a straight line as it passes over their heads. All of which is impossible on any flerf idea of a pizza world. Of course they will all cry off such a trip because it will destroy their world view.
@@martinconnelly1473 and their income. The pupa Flerf's know the earth is a sphere but they are conman extracting money from the gullible.
I just want everyone to understand it's NOT okay to attack or shame Jaren. The last thing we want to do is become the very thing we have fought directly against. No matter how you split it, Jaren is taking an incredibly difficult path. It's not easy admitting you were fundamentally wrong about your entire perspective of reality. Takes a lot of courage to step up to all of us and admit defeat. Bravo Jaren!!!!
I think the shame attacks would be reduced if Jaren would apologize for all the misinformation he has promulgated for a decade.
If this didn't end the Flerfs, it certainly caused a fissure that soon will.
Some are already finding excuses on why/how the experiment was faked...
Flerfs are just scattered and rudderless. 🤣🤣
I wonder if he was genuinely believing it and now learned that it isn’t, or he was a troll (like most flerfers), who knew it all along, and now cannot provide any reasonable denial, so he quits.
I really don't think most flerfers are trolls. At least not those who spend considerable time on the forums, UA-cam, etc debating. That just sounds like an easy way out when you finally realise you were wrong
@ Many of them are knowingly lie about facts, and caught on these lies. ESPECIALLY the ones promoting these on UA-cam, and actively debating it.
Real flerfers don’t know about many things, or misunderstand them, but don’t actively and consciously lie.
Nothing they've ever provided has ever been reasonable, I doubt that is what stopped him.

The people fussing about the mountain looking the same obviously don't live around mountains. That's exactly what happens when they get snowed on. The same spots hold snow and the same spots slough off snow. The only changes are usually in how frosty the trees look and obviously trees are not an issue in Antarctica. I wouldn't even say there's much of a change with wind or fresh snowfall. If you're on the mountain probably you notice the snow change a bit but at that size and distance, no way

I'm curious as to why nobody has asked these flat earthers to explain about EME (earth-moon-earth) transmissions if indeed the earth is flat!? Why could I, as a 2 meter ham radio operator, bounce a radio signal from Missouri, USA off the moon and back to Australia but it is impossible to send a signal directly to the "Land Down Under"?!?! Lol, just an interesting question I'd like to hear them answer!
If you're curious, why have you posted it? There are a lot of flat earthers in this comments section. Why not ask a few?
Intuitively I feel like they will just dismiss this as "they are just saying that but really they are sending the signal via X/Y/Z method" no?
Obviously bounces off the fermerment (or however you spell it). Also the speed of light is very slow near the fermerment (source: I made it the hell up)
@@Greenicegod firmament is the correct spelling ;) But yeah that's probably *exactly* what they'd reply lol
@@Greenicegod Lol, good one... but, the problem is that the distance from the originating transceiver to the "firmament" then to the receiving transceiver is further than from origin point to receiving point! Hence the earth must be a globe!
I cant wait for L.E.O to come crawling on hands and knees to be allowed into the fold, he KNOWS he’s wrong but is too ARROGANT to admit it.
How many “Globers” are arguing with each other about observations fitting the globe model? Zero. How many flat earthers are arguing amongst themselves and ostracizing others for observations that were made by flat earthers ? Quite telling don’t you think?
To be able to admit that you're wrong when you've believed something for so long and so strongly is truly admirable
Flerfs already comes in two varieties. True believers and grifters.

How does a sunset even work in the flat earth model
It's incredible how the people who appeal to perspective the most - don't understand perspective at all.

@@kendexter Count me in!!!! (I know the earth is round, btw)
Yes of course you can see a 24 hour sun in the summer in the northern areas of lapland. But it's Antarctica that matters as one way to disprove the Flerfs. That is because they have no problem with a 24 hour sun in the Summer in the North. And the reason they have no problem with that is that the North pole is in the "center" of their flat disc shaped world "model" (which is of course not a model, just a ridiculous disproven illogical idea that defies every shred of scientific evidence). Antarctica, however, can not have a 24 hour sun in the Antarctic Summer if Antarctica is a circle of ice around their imaginary pizza world.

Two things have no limits, space and human stupidity
@mehmetsimsek4794 Well, we're not quite sure on space having no limits haha. If you mean the fabric of space it's potentially infinite but we can only see a certain distance out in space. And there is a limit to how fast things can move through space. But yes, for all we know space has no limit as in boundary. And human stupidity definitely has no limit haha

It's mid-summer at Union Glacier but the temperature does not get above -8 degrees. What little bit of precipitation it gets in the form of snow doesn't go anywhere. It does not melt; it just sits there. Since the amount of snowfall is so small it should really come as no surprise that the snow patterns on the mountains are the same 8 months apart; it would be astonishing if it were any different.
