Solid balls. The Maxfli Tour Balata in the 90s was legit.
The Maxfli Revolution irons back in the 80s were some sweet sticks.
I played Maxfli Tour XS 90s back in the day- I have played the Tour X for 3 years now. The 2023 version has more pop off of the faces than the previous versions, but I love the feel and performance.
Great ball. Been playing the tour for over past 5 seasons. Durable. Nice value

I've played these for the last 4 years. Durability is awesome, spin is awesome, and I have no troubles with the alignment on it. For half the cost of a pro v and very similar performance, this golf ball is a no trainer for me.
I have been playing these all year. Plenty of distance and spin. Not too firm off the putter face. Truly a great ball.
Been playing the tour x and it’s fantastic. Almost too much spin into the greens. No issues with durability at all.
Grabbed 10 dozen of these several years ago for only $20/dozen when Dick's Sporting Goods conducted a sale after the My Golf Spy ball teat that had Maxfli Tour finishing just behind the Pro V1 and Bridgestone Tour B. The original Maxfli Revolution ("Take power, and SEIZE control") was one of the last great "wound" balls.
These were the balls I sent to you a little over a year ago, nice to see you testing them again.
I play the tour over the ProV1. They had better check on chips and same performance on course as the ProV1
I actually hit one today at the range. Felt okay. No idea if it stops or what, but flew pretty well on that one strike
I played the Maxfli Revolution back in the late 1990s - and then the Titleist ProVI came out which I played until last week. Now I play Vice.
Maxfli was my "go to" ball way back during my high school / college golf team days (1972-78)... will try the one seen here as I am weary of the Pro V1 prices.
I played this ball all season and I have not had issues with durability at all. I know if you accidentally get ahold of the previous years model the durability is poor. I found them from Dick's for $119.00 for 4 dozen. I've played all three versions and my only complaint is that the Tour X is very long but it's very firm indeed. Great lineup though.
You gotta have a lot of speed to compress it.
Dicks had a $20 off if you spent $100 after downloading their app, so I got 4 dozen for less than $100. I played them the other day and I found them to be a solid option, especially for the money.
I play the Maxfli Tour. Great off the driver (TSR3) ball speed and low spin. Feel and spin off the irons is very acceptable.
You need to take a sleeve back for Dave and see how they fair for a slower speed player, plus how forgiving they are on off center hits.
Used Maxfli when you guys were a twinkle in your father's eye. Great irons as well 👍

I have a dozen and have not played them yet. For the money, I really like Srixon Z Star. But if durability is a issue with these, I may just spend the extra few dollars for the Srixon.
Back on the 90’s loads used them! Used to make decent clubs too!

@@TripsView go check and try the new Snell. Cheaper, longer, better spin around the greens, and much much mote durable! For 10 less a dozen! Like I said not the deal they use to be!

Chris how does ball selection ( Low, Mid or High flight) correspond to your club and shaft characteristics? These balls are balanced spun too!

They were definitely rocks in the 70s and 80s, but not now, nice feel.
Vn balls with one horrible flaw? The covering is bad..... Now i know why they ar 15 dollars cheaper than a pro v1
