11:15 You don't have to cuff the jeans with the inside rolled up and showing on the outside. I fold mine up, inwards so the outside is hidden inside, against my sock. You can't tell that the jeans aren't really that length because you can't see that they're folded up.
Thank you for doing this video, Jamie. I have a pair of chelsea boots that I kept wanting to wear with my wide leg jeans and couldn't figure out why they didn't look quite right. When I see the comparison with wearing the sleeker pointed toe boots, it makes sense and looks so much better! 😊❤
This is another very useful video, Jamie. Good one to view a few times as we head into winter. I'd love to see a video re: footwear with skirts and dresses. Thank you so much!!
I’m always interested in anything having to do with skirts and dresses, yes, please to such a video. Of course, this time of year I always wear knee-high or thigh-high boots with them.
Thank you for the video. I find it very helpful. I'm pretty well stuck wearing heavier leather rounded toe booties or lug soles to accommodate thick socks from October through March because I live in a colder climate where snow, rain and those days between require more protection. Decided after watching your video that I'll just bring the right shoes with me and put them on once I get to where I'm going. Thank you again. It would be great to see this video for spring and summer sandals and sling backs.
This was so helpful Jamie! I keep a few pair of skinny jeans to wear with flats and knee high boots. My go to now a days are straight leg jeans or corduroys.
Great guidelines. Thank you! And please do make a footwear video for skirts and dresses. Especially when to wear a bootie and when to go with a tall boot.
This was perfect timing…I so needed this. I have so many boots I love that I wore last year with skinny jeans and now I don’t know what looks right with my straight leg jeans. I think I’m needing to get straight legs jeans that are a tad longer and hit the ankle bone like you suggested and I will still be able to use the boots. Thank you!!! and yes to the dresses and boots! :)😊
I have a pair of similar wool trousers and I hemmed them myself so that I can pair them with flats. I'll certainly try pairing them with pointy toe boots! Thank you for the idea!!
Oh dear, can’t get use to those wide leg pants, I still have some of the better quality ones I kept from the 90’s the camel color outfit looks really good on you👍🥰 I can do the straight leg. Absolutely love every outfit with the straight leg. Yes love skinny jeans I probably have 40 or 50 pairs🤣🤣
I have had trouble pairing shoes with outfits and this video helped tremendously, that being said YES how about shoes with dresses... I bought chunky loafers and now i do not know how to use them UGH!
Full-length Trousers are just Uh-huh, i aint sold on what you showed, and you are talented. I never very impressed with my Trousers, in fact, I think I wont buy another Trousers. I have some very pretty straight leg Trousers that looked perfect with high heels and cute tops (more tailored outfits) but wont buy any more pants/Trousers. Great advice on everything else. I was hoping you have some magic advice on trousers :( oh wait, i can wear my trousers with sneakers 🤩
I guess I disagree on almost every one of these. Ive heard people say this, outlooking the loafers look far better then the sock boots, and the Chelsea boots actually dont look bad, as long ad its balanced out on topwith a tighter top. I think that "tree trunk effect actually makes your legs look longer.
Please do a video of shoes with skirts and dresses. Thanks for demonstrating all the shoes, seeing pointed heels and pointed pumps on your show really helped me decide to throw them all away. No pointed anything anda big NO to all the skinny jeans and trousers. I will keep themvto wear with knee high boots because fitted bottom looks great with knee high boots.
I feel like the wide leg pants are a bit too long, and that also makes them look not so great. It seems like there’s a fine line between having the pants long enough and a bit too long.
this video is a perfect example of wear what you want. Neither is really the wrong shoe it is a matter of personal style. I will take a chunky shoe over pointy toe shoe any day..
Yes! Please do a video on footwear with skirts and dresses. This one was very helpful, by the way, thanks for all you do :)
I would also love to see that.
And please 🙏 in this other video, don’t forget the socks/tights that are sometimes a headache with skirts.🫣 Thanks!

This was exactly what I was looking for. Thank you! My questions have been answered!!!!!

Great video! Please do another with what footwear to wear with dresses please!
Yes, please do a video with dresses and skirts.
I'd love something about skirts and shoes/boots in winter--with tights, leggings under them? I'm confused!
Would love an additional video for dresses and skirts!! Love your videos!!!!
Very helpful video. Several of my shooties have a pull tab at the back ankle that catches my straight and slim leg pants. So annoying!
Thank you for this one and yes please skirts and dresses too.
Yes, please do a video on shoes with skirts and dresses. That would be very helpful! I thoroughly enjoy your videos!
I’m always interested in anything having to do with skirts and dresses, yes, please to such a video. Of course, this time of year I always wear knee-high or thigh-high boots with them.

Can you provide a link to the pink cable knit sweater you're wearing during the narration? (Love the footwear help.)

Great guidelines. Thank you! And please do make a footwear video for skirts and dresses. Especially when to wear a bootie and when to go with a tall boot.
The ( cowl ) neck sweater with the belt is gorgeous!

Yes, please do a shoe/boot video for dresses and skirts. What to wear with a maxi sweater dress?!?
Great job explaining the “why” something does not work❤❤❤
Very helpful! And please make a shoes and skirts/dresses video. Thank you very much!
So helpful, I love it you explain why certain styles work or not. The examples are great
I have a pair of similar wool trousers and I hemmed them myself so that I can pair them with flats. I'll certainly try pairing them with pointy toe boots! Thank you for the idea!!
Great video. Where did you get your skinny jeans? They look great on you.
Yes, a video of shoes with skirts and dresses would be great!
Noted! Thank you!

This is helpful. Can you do another shoe video for summer? I’m wondering how to style my wide leg linen pants.
Great idea!
Yes please do a video on skirts and dresses too.
Yes to skirts and dresses!
I remember wearing trainers with wide legs jeans back in HS in the late 90s. Haha.
Yes please the video for skirts and dresses
Great video‼️THANK you‼️
Any suggestions if you have to wear orthopedic shoes?
I love this! Thanks! Where’d you find your wide leg jeans?
Much needed guidance, Thanks!
Yes, please for the skirt video!
Good choices
I have had trouble pairing shoes with outfits and this video helped tremendously, that being said YES how about shoes with dresses... I bought chunky loafers and now i do not know how to use them UGH!
Yes please do skirts and dresses
I just bought 2 prs of wideleg jeans today 😊
Nice!

Seems like it would be easier to hem the pants.

any wide leg pant or jeans have to be hemmed shorter in front than back for wearing with flats.
I feel like the wide leg pants are a bit too long, and that also makes them look not so great. It seems like there’s a fine line between having the pants long enough and a bit too long.
Agree the pleated gray pants are waaay too long.
Jeans are so expensive and to have different lengths for different shoes in varying heel heights is challenging on a budget
this video is a perfect example of wear what you want. Neither is really the wrong shoe it is a matter of personal style. I will take a chunky shoe over pointy toe shoe any day..
I always feel like I have clown feet when I wear anything besides knee high boots w skinny
I think the tiny bows on the ballet flats look strange, like the shoe though.
I wish you would have done something on wide legged jeans. They are not the same as wide legged slacks.
She did do wide leg jeans.
@@beverlynorris557 OIC, I call those straight legged jeans.
I hate the fact these trousers drag the floor ! Yikes
I've never liked pointed toed shoes they are ugly to me
