I may have to get one to try. I picked up a JB Double Oak Tuesday and cracked it last night. It hit me like a non peated Scotch or an American single malt. I like it, light and a quick dry finish. One of my favorite budget pours is JW Dant BIB $15 in Tulsa. I was pleasantly surprised by it neat😋🥃
I think I would rather have a knob Creek 9 for a few more bucks.

I think it used to be 8 year and then it was extra aged. Still haven't seen one here in Colorado 😅🥃
It seems to be available but certainly only in the handle version. It’s like 40 for the handle so not crazy. I’m a big JB fan so I’m sure I’ll like this. Enjoy!!
The old JB Black was 86 proof this is 90 now
And yes I have had had Jim Beam extra aged and this is much better....
JB Black used to be 8 year Age Stated. I have one handle unopened yet... The "Distiller's Choice" was 7 year Age-Stated (and is different than the 100 proof NCF / NAS Distiller's Cut that was a great bottle about 5 years ago). Cheers!
