I've come back to this video a couple of times to paint the cabinets in my bathrooms and kitchen. It was super helpful to have a list of steps to take to get everything done right and my cabinets look fantastic.
Great job 👏 it looks so pretty too. I can’t wait to paint our bathrooms vanities, my problem is deciding on a color that will compliment our 70’s bathroom tile? One bath is a beautiful tan color on walls and tan and white small tiles on floor and the other a lovely green on walls with green and white small tiles on the floor. I’m glad you covered what to use for laminate vanities because I think that’s what ours are. Any suggestions on color would be much appreciated. Thank you for sharing 👍👍
I changed my pulls and installed self closing hinges in nickel finish. I forgot to get sandpaper. I got a quart of chimney smoke gray. I am going to fill in some deep scratches and sand down before i paint. I really like the new hinges and pull handles.
It looks just beautiful! Please people, please only dip paint brush in paint container half way.....never let the paint touch the metal on your brush...you will ruin it.
I would think you you also be wasting paint. That paint close to the metal banding will not actually get used and will just stay in that bristle area. You will be washing out all that unused paint at the end of your painting job which is wasteful and extends the cleaning process which no one wants.
Nice. Your bathroom is exactly like mine wxept the floors and my vanity top is white tile. I will be painting vanity too and framing the mirror. I just don't know what to do with the vanity top yet?
Hi there. 👋 I need your help finding the right type of paint for my bathroom. It's to paint over wooden surfaces which had old yellowed gloss I've already sanded down. Is there a water-based paint, for bathroom wooden surfaces which can withstand moisture exposure 💦 most recommended bathroom paints are designed for ceilings & walls 🤨
You don't need to sand if you use chalk paint. A good cleaning and primer is good enough. After finishing the painting, you can seal it with a Topcoat.
The type of paint you choose for the cabinets will protect them from moisture and grime build up. The most popular options for bathroom cabinets are acrylic enamel paints. Acrylic, or water-based, paints are low-fume and clean up easily with water. In general, higher-gloss sheens are more resistant to moisture and everyday wear than flat or matte finishes.
@@eliettydevesa because everyone is depressed and they think they can keep borrowing money they dont have to impress people they dont even like by remodeling their homes after watching something on HGTV or pinterest. Pretty sad.
I'd rather put in some work to save money. Our current vanities are in good condition, just kinda ugly. It saves money to just paint, upgrade the faucet, and add hardware. Buying a whole new double vanity (that may or may not come with a top), plus removal/trash, plus everything needed for install is a whole bunch of money that a lot of us don't have. I little hard work never hurt anybody.
mobgma money is worth something too. Some people WORK for their money. So they’ll put in the time to save some money so they don’t have to work longer hours just to buy a vanity. You seem unbelievably privileged or lazy as hell
Worked perfect! Just finished mine. Three coats and this thing looks brand new!

LOL...... That was my 1st thought as soon as I saw it in her hand. I have similar brushes I've used for 10+ years with proper care....
If you don’t mind me asking. Why not let the metal touch it?
@@MoeMoe-do1fd It will cause an explosion!!! Just kidding. I have no idea.
@@MoeMoe-do1fd I'm thinking bc it'll make it harder to clean all of the paint out of the brush and will effect the functionality of the brush.

She seems nice; and this was informative. However, WE WANT THE WEEKENDER!
Yes!!! I miss Monica!!!!
That bathroom was great to start with

Very pretty!!
Does this work with cheap plywood too?
That eggshell is that a regular color for cabinets only or can be the one for the wall?

Love this!
Wonderful beautiful
Awesome 👍
I noticed you didn't seal the paint. Any reason why?
do you have a video for the shower tile wall installation?
No polyurethane or any other sealer?
I'm trying this tomorrow :D
I’m trying this in an hour
@@jjalltheway3766 I'm trying this now 🤪

*Easy to clean*
So you don’t have to put a clear coat over the paint ?
What's the paint color on the wall?
"Frosted Iron" LOL
How do you get rid of the grain look though?
Do you need to put any protection over the paint?

What roller did she use for this job?
I can't see this paint in Australia Bunnings. Any name for this actual color?
No sealant?
God answers prayers! I have to paint a vanity about that size in my Son's bathroom and that color is perfect. I will b doing thing very soon, thanks
What there being fake printed wood paper on the side
What color is the wall?
I thought you're suppose to sand in-between coats?
What is the name of this paint...???
What grit when sanding primer?
Either 220 or 300 would work.
Everyone paints everything gray. Outside....gray...
cabinets...gray.
Countertops...white
...walls ...gray....
Furniture...gray..
Saw it on Pinterest zombies.
Dude for real why do we pick the most depressing color

@@hotdogs5265 Not exactly true.
It has to do with resale value.
Easier to resale with these neutral colors.
Scrap the edges and bring out the rustic brown for an aged look
How far up that paint was on the brush made me cringe! That’s not going to be fun to clean
funny! I thought the same thing.
Sinceramente não gosto de pintar madeira, dá para fazer tudo isso e ao invés de pintar usar um stain
I am.beginning to hate gray. Its everywhere. And no, it doesn't go with everything.
I don't think she put it on thick enough.
Valspar paint is poor quality especially the one that has primer in it!
Looked better before.
new vanity far more worth it. they make this sound like it takes 3 hours. this takes 1-2 days depending on the scenario. NO THANKS
mobgma it’s not that hard. And the landfill will thank you for not tossing out more junk
@@joonyaboy agreed but my time is worth something. time is the only thing you cannot buy more of.
