Most shows were the two of them wearing goggles and capes and shit playing with a 4 track in the background.. Very punk rock,, in the Minuteman sense,, not the cliche Sex Pistols type. They did what they liked, no matter what people thought. Henry Rollins famously said all music at the time was complete shit, except for one light of hope........WEEN. Daisies ended up on Beavis and Butthead which was hugely popular at the time. And that's what got them going. The Mollusk, White Pepper, Chocolate and Cheese, Quebec, all works of genre defying art. All outstanding albums. And live they lay that shit down. By the end everybody is spent. They really earned their success and I've luckily been a proud and adoring fan since about 92. I saw a show with about 50-60 people, I've seen them at Red Rocks with Tenacious D. I can't say enough good about Ween. They are the bees' fuckin knees man. There's God. There's Satan. There's Ween.
