They rock the shit out of this song live and really all of their stuff I’m actually super unfamiliar with their whole catalog of songs but I’ve seen them three times live and they’re absolutely fabulous.
Everyone's talking about Road Trip and Dude Where's My Car? but I remembered this song from a skit from MTV's "The State" called "In the Bathroom" that cut all the lyrics but left in the intro and the guitar solo, and my god, it was a *journey* tracking the song back to Ween. Well worth it.
I was at my friends house she was throwing a small party I think it was her bday. I started talking to her cute friend and somehow we got to talking about music and she mentioned she liked Ween. I told her I’ve never heard of them. She says “Really? You’ve never heard Voodoo Lady?” I said no, it doesn’t sound familiar. I told her I’ll look them up though. I ended up buying every one of their albums that summer and they quickly became one of my favorites too. Thanks Erica lol
I also grew up to this song, my Dad would always play Ween albums loudly as a kid.. I have a memory of being very young, perhaps 5yrs old sitting in the sun one day on the weekend and hearing this.. probably not fully comprehending how they would enrich my life at 15 years or so later. Still one of my all time favorite bands and im in my 30s now. Long live Ween ❤

@MxrtyRobbins In this video maybe, but a few years later Gene start to age very quickly, and this is clear in some music videos. It's actually hard to believe that Gene is only 53 today.
