I like the gowns. I think I am also aware of differences between medieval and renaissance music. This one is something in between - late medieval to early renaissance, perhaps. That is why they might be dressed still medieval but the dance can be more into renaissance, I guess. Early renaissance dress is often confused with medieval, too. In this case, they are actually wearing proper medieval kirtles and overgowns/surcoats. :-)

Hello to all! This dance looks beautiful. But if you want to see these dances live today you can look at my culture's dances. I am Macedonian (not Greek) and we still dance like this even a circle called an oro (exactly like this or holding hands in various ways). The music for this dance is very simular to some of the folk songs and dances.

Branle des Cheveaux is not medieval - it's from the late 16th century. If you have an earlier version of the music, I would love to see the source.
Dressing like that is the true fashion then what we ladies where now e-e it would be nice wear dresses because you don't have you worry of your thins ripping your pants or your knees I am sure I'm not only one who feels that way embarrassed by jeans ripping of nightwear pants
