I have a 2019 Dodge Challenger R/T Hemi, the car is intimidating looking. A lot of people tend to not be interested in racing something that looks fast and intimidating. I said A lot, not all. For the record.
I have the same experience! Most people cower away from V8 Challengers in general because they're not quite sure what kind of power you have. Non-Challenger owners don't really know the difference between a 5.7, a 6.4, and a 6.1. They just know by the sound that it's a V8 and it looks mean. For all they know, it could be a Hellcat.
Purple is the best. Plum Crazy is he perfect shade of purple and my wife agrees. I too have been searching for plum crazy Challengers and I haven't come across any used 17-19's, and very few new ones either 18's or 19's, and even fewer still with the options I want. I worry about the size of the challenger and I've been concerned too with driving it down my skinnier street and trying to fit it in parking spaces.
Your rt vs a cammed ram would’ve been a great match lol, granted he has a cam, it’s still a ram, a big ass truck, you would’ve had aerodynamic advantage. That’d be interesting for sure
Thanks for the review. Am considering the RT but might go V6. Still debating. Love the info on rear wheel drive btw. I grew up in Montana and everyone that had rear wheel drive just drove in the snow like everyone else. No one complained! You just get in your car and drive no matter what. :)
@@dychejs Well they are the same except for the motor if your not looking for the sound of a v-8 I would go with the v-6. The v-6 is much softer ride v-8 is much harder. what I would say to do is rent them for a day that will tell you what to do
I’m in Texas in a place that does not snow much at all. It may snow here once every three years. When it snows or we have ice on the road our whole city shuts down. I mean no school, work or anything. I can’t imagine driving in snow.
My scat pak gets 24 mpgon hwy, shaker hood well worth extra cash as is biger tire and brake package, my car is only one ive ever seen with factory hood pins, why people dont order pins ? Never have seen 1 at a dealer with . Got mine in gomango orange the black and orange color contrast is killer
That has to suck driving your beautiful Challenger through the salt covered roads, it's understandable most people don't have the choice I'm in a unique situation where I bought a challenger and kept my Volkswagen due to the fact that would not receive much of a trade-in deal decided to keep it as a beater car and drive it in the bad weather, but great video good content!
People love to pull in front of mine in a hurry so they can drive 5 under the speed limit. That is only half as annoying as all the fart cannon exhaust hondas.
I rented a V6 challenger… it cost $60 to fill up the tank here in NY-metro area…. It’s a great car. But I can’t see nothing out the back window. Not safe for that reason tbh.

I agree challenger is actually very good in the winter with proper tires
What tires do you recommend for the winter because I have a dodge challenger R/T but winter is coming soon and I want to be ready
Good video Dude. I'm seriously contemplating one and I'm 6'2" also.
Getting my new rt this Wednesday
Mexico has a CRAZY race scene
My favorite thing about it is when I’m in the fast lane on the highway and everyone just get out of my way lol
Thank u so much for this video! You always give the best info on your vehicles and experiences with them. Its super helpful!!
I got my R/T last week. Fell in love with it when I drove the SXT (a loaner). It's slightly bigger than the Grand Cherokee that I traded in.
I’m also in the Buffalo NY area my challenger was a beast in the snow this past winter
That’s great to hear lmao, I’m very close to that area and am picking up my 2016 RT plus tomorrow!
Sounds really good love the color very sharp looking car

Yeah the sheer size was something I had to get used too, but once you do it's not so bad.

I had a sxt for 3 yrs loved it but there's nothing like the sound of a v8
I did end up getting an R/T
AVR 1961 How did the R/T compare with the SXT?

I live in Montana Rn Lol and I drive a SXT charger I love it, but I wish for the RT
I’ve noticed that with my rt , if your first at a light most people will let you go first or stay back a little

What you you estimate you mpgs while driving a steady 75 mph. And do you have manual or automatic. Thanks

I notice the same things as well I live in upstate NY as well
Small world. I'm close to buffalo and shopping for a Challenger lol
Thank you my friend 😊

they DONT the sxt doesn't say hemi on it anywhere
im a Wrangler Challenger guy too !!!!
I have ordered a 2022 RT. And I hate how it looks exactly the same as GT. I would prefer to have it look different from the V6

Lol my rear view fell off and I never bothered putting it back up
What’s some good winter tires? My scat pack has the stock tires on and I’m going to using it in the wintet
I did a video a while ago on the Atturo AZ850 tires. I liked them on the challenger. ua-cam.com/video/SJJ6Upl-pLY/v-deo.html
you looking for compliments oh you a baller in other words
20 MPG in an R/T? Tuning? Best I could get was 14.
I have a 2015 RT with manual 6 speed and everyday use I average 24mpg.
Honda civics know they stand no chance against a Challenger
Most cars don’t
Nevemind a 110hp ricer
@@paulmarclalonde3834 owning a civic doesn't make you a ricer. Have you seen a type R? They're no joke!
ppl are scared of the challenger
I did a mid muffler delete much louder
dude your car sounds like mine and its a rt challenger 6 speed i hate automatics
I guess the rt has a ticking noise is that a recall?
its more aggressive looking
