I am a new fan to NCAAW ball- have watched most of the men's march madness- since Jordan was playing for North Carolina- BUT- last year- started watching NCAAW- more intensely than I had before- and honestly, for me, the most exciting March Madness I have ever watched was last year's run- and LSU caught my eye even before the final 4 and I was on their bandwagon- AND was so incredibly happy to see them win- Iowa is NO doormat

@@MarkHarper-ek8ss Clark is not a defender, rebounder nor big in assists. Scoring only will not win championships! It will hurt the team without the other factors. Angel Reese, Rickea Jackson, McMahan of OhioSt. Pili of Utah have far more to offer than Clark.

Out of all that shooting! Shes only #1 in shooting 3pts, assists. They play the softest teams in the league and struggle against the mediocre teams. The losses attest to that. Refs aren't saving her and her flopping is nipped in the bud. They'd be lucky to survive to the sweet 16. So no, shes not the best player in the league. Shes a great shooter. Thats all. #1 draft pick.....means she goes to the worst team. Thats all.
Coach Mulkey kept it 💯! Got to give her props for game prep and media prep. They ask some of the most ridiculous questions and her responses are everything 😂! She handles her business and then takes her exit, knowing that they are no more the wiser ❤!!! Much respect!

@@marcdaddy33 amazing, amazing league the NCAAW is- Tigers iwn last year was quite the shocker- to me- just thought South Carolina was going to take it all- so shocked when Iowa knocked them out! by then I was already in LSU's corner- because of Reese, Mulkey this whole squad- BUT- would love to see them win it again- but- would also love to see Cailin get a title- or the very young JuJu (SEC teams are too dominant in this great league- but, so many great athletes in the NCAAW- side note- for some reason I don't read many lines about South Carolina's team- they were undefeated last year- and this year- but, I don't know them like I know other teams?
HVL don’t like talking to the media. She seems uncomfortable every time. She don’t want to say the wrong thing. She’s still growing with her confidence. If you look at the comments in the videos after every game. That gets to you whether you let it or not. Regardless how long she has played. She is a new player in a new team, new fan base. New everything it’s hard. Adults. grown people here giving negative opinions whether or not they are right how helpful do you think they are?? This girls will be fine. Regardless of what we think.
yes, it is a learning curve- but, these coaches and athletes are really selling the NCAAW
So happy Coach Mulkey said what she said about Caitlyn Clark and Pete Maravich. It's not even the same and for people to even compare is an insult to his legacy. This is one time I agree with Coach Mulkey.
It's okay from Mulkey because Pete is their guy. But the idea that you cannot compare the two without insulting Pete is just, plain, playa-hating. I love Pete and will continue to love what he accomplished.

Hailey should stay to develop more as PG she has so much potential to be great at the position. Angel just needs to develop a mid range and a stronger layup game but she doesn’t need to stay to do that so she should do what the heart desires.
I was thinkin hailey should stay too to develop her game a lil more and she has got to get pass the wnba cuts. But she can do it. I wish her all the best!

Angel's not going to play "down Low" in the WNBA. She's playing out of position. She's a Point Forward, or Stretch 4 Type (more a Point Forward), who's going to drive to the basket; set up her teammates, and push the ball up the court. The mid range, etc., will naturally come when you have a handle and get can to the spot, and/or pass it off to your teammates. The low post stuff, will just be a bonus.

Mulkey, Tara VanDerveer, many other coaches in the NCAAW have paved the way for the young women players playing today- there wasn't much, if any professional opportunities for women ball players back then- have been a few pro leagues, but, weren't long lasting- now the WNBA seems to be working- profitable on its own- BUT- where they develop most of their athletes are in this amazing NCAAW league- with its schools, coaches, trainers- as the old cigarette ad used to shout out 'You've Come A Long Way, Baby'

Mulky is always worth listening to. Her comments are wise. LSU is a sports powerhouse, and i think its actually anchored by its typically incredible track team. Holding the new generations to high standards and demanding what we know they can do is absolutely the right thing b/c they CAN do it ! Its not easy to be demanding but its necessary for those who are gifted. There are some who can't but f to honor them those who can must step forward .

HVL just doesn’t seem like her old self since she left Louisville. I saw her up here for three years and she seemed so happy. Maybe in retrospect she should have joined Iowa instead of LSU. I wish her well whatever she decides to do at the conclusion of the season.

If you believe this, then I can tell you haven’t been watching any of their games.
Kim's reference to shot selection is what has been wrong with LSU losing leads. Too often, they need to pull it back out and set up an offense. Lots of empty possessions, and so many missed shots under the basket.
Angel farted when she went to sit down. That's why Kim was laughing when she sat down and smelled what she heard. Then, Angel said, "Don't say nothing coach!"

What 77 to 56 at home, Carolina scored 201 points and gave 91 in their two games against Kentucky. For sure the paper champions can’t beat Carolina in over almost two decade and not winning SEC tournament but Carolina sure can win, LSU would have lost to Carolina if they wasn’t cheated by the referees against IOWA, Carolina was sacrificed for rating because they wanted UConn and IOWA to play for the national championship. If Carolina played LSU game would have been another 25 point lost for the paper champions.
