It's pretty easy on how to make melodies they don't have to be so obfuscated, Just make your random melody sound good.

Because mostly cowbell doesn’t contain chords and stuff like that it’s a single note (or octave layering). Easier to make than like RnB melodies using piano and complex chords

1:03 I used KickStart and at 3:06 there were no plugins it was just the sound of the cowbell

It’s a plug-in that makes side chaining, there’s other methods of side chaining but this is just what I prefer. If you want the plug-in there’s a free demo you can use just google “kickstart plug-in” and it should be the first thing that comes up
