Huge floods have devastated some parts of the UK this week and a fishery which saw the brunt of these floods was the Larford lakes complex. I took a rare opportunity to spend a 2 hour session fishing the fishery under such extreme conditions...

i live just down stream at upton upon severn and have 8ft of water in the garden but we are luck as others have had there homes and busness flooded

Nice vid Jamie , without turning into the daily politics show or newsnight. The government need to wake up and smell the coffee getting more rain in autumn and winter than ever before . It’s obvious our water systems can’t cope with it . 👍🏻🎣

If so, could you give you expert finding on the over all performance of the rod and reel seperately, and put together as a combo? Please.

Hi Jamie this is the best footage of seen you do watching the tip I could sit watch this for hours but love the way it just flys around on a take great bit of filming wish you do more often but I know it's hard in a match great few hours at Larford 👍👍👌👌

Great video as usual, with fantastic camera angles,,,,, but,,, that new Rode mic,, it has a speech processor which picks up the nearest loudest sound which is great for your vocals, but picks up all your breathing between sentences, Yes i know we all have to breathe!, :), but, I suppose I am being picky, I find it difficult to enjoy as much as all your other videos.
I know I may get some flack, but as a fisherman that is normal, :),

A great little insight video Jamie, it makes you wonder what the match would have been like if it hadn't been cancelled! judging by your enjoyable couple of hours it would have been a match with some surprise weights, did any fish try to swim around your tip view cam? a couple of the F1's got a bit close
Haha yes a couple of them nearly knocked it over mate lol They had a small knock-up on that the lake the following day...188lb won it!

Great video mate, just goes to show you can fish in some dier conditions some times if you have the right perspective on the fish movement, that camera angle was 👌🏻🔥🍆 as alot of ppl have said guilty of early striking I think 😩

Well Jamie, I'm really touched out the out pouring of love for Phil. He's a great all round ent, and I feel deserves all the support he gets. Never having been to Larford,, and wanted to for some years,yet I was gutted to find out about the carnage. Thank God the damage is only temporary. Smashing to see you fish it regardless of the conditions. It goes to show that your heart is in the right place.
Great result, and lovely fish netted in a stress free session. Awesome camera angle of the tip, capturing every twitch and rattle from interested fish. Hope you can continue to employ that in the future. Tight line you Sir.
P.S. It's lovely that you take your Dad around to so many events. Heart warming from your followers perspective.

Nice to see there still seem to be a reasonable head of fish in match lake.
Hope damaged platforms is the only real impact on speci lake.
Yes hopefully mate. They had a small knock-up on Match Lake yesterday and 188lb won it so it's fishing well :)

CATCH Fishing Channel hopefully they stayed put but I feel like loads would have washed down river such a shame
