hi pitched sounds nice the funk sound mike clark purdie etc
Man that snare got some crack , BEAUTIFUL
Thank you for the video and especially for showing alternative tuning.
Wow, that's purdy.
I've just entered the Pearl drums domain, and i'm excited about it. After a quarter century of playing Ludwig, Tama, and Yamaha, it should be interesting to see how Pearl compares to three companies i've enjoyed playing for so long..
Well how do you like Pearl? I have to admit this, because I am more comfortable behind my Pearl Masters kit than my high end Sonors.
Love em.
LOVE EM..
Perfection
I JUST BOUGHT ONE!!!! YEEEEEEAHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
You still have/like it?
I have this drum and love it along with the maple shell also. I have to first gen version where the snare wires go beyond the head and man you hear the snares right at the rim so it is very sensitive. Great sounding drum!
Great drums, but that extra-long snare system is kind of a pain to get dialed in. I have the aluminum shell. I think the sound is a little on the thin side, but it's a nice drum.
Man I am usually always a bigger fan of the higher tuning but that very first low tuning is money reese.
nice
What does "Task Specific" really mean?
That crack !
What the hell does task specific mean In the context of a snare?!
dang! high tune sounds like a rifle!
David silvera used this snare on life is peachy record
Michael Larson u sure? I thought it was a Tama copper piccolo. Being endorsed by tama I don’t think he would use pearl.

His wikipedia page states that from 1994 to 2003 he used Pearl Free Floating (I think brass) 14x4
What the hell does “task specific” mean?
Is it a seamless shell?
This snare drum has a seam.
I wonder who drum artist uses this snare 🤔
Wish the hi hat didnt sound like crap
Hihat sounds quite decent IMO...
Internal standing waves over tones - less pronounced in Wooden Snares - Ring Star used tea clothes during recording to get rid of the metalic ring.
