The film is very useful, thanks to him I changed all the oils myself. I also undertook to change the oil in the gearbox, but I wonder about the capacity. In the documentation it is written 3.8 liters, and at me 2.5 liters entered and already poured out. Hi, I can't, I'm not working in dealer anymore the test is Toyota/Lexus online program. First step is check errors from last 500km, next step is check 12v battery, next car engine must be running on hold brake pedal and acceleration together for 30sec during the program checking the HV battery pack and charging system. After pass you have waranty for 12 months for your Battery Pack (only) I hope I'm little help understand the Hybrid Helth Check ;)

Cześć ,wybacz zwłokę ale jakoś przeoczyłem cię 😔 ...ale do brzegu, jak do tej pory to nie spotkałem zardzewiałego egzemplarz, bywają problem z tylnymi zaciskami rdzewieją i klocki piszczą lub nie równomiernie się zcierają, ale to wszystko zależy jak i gdzie był dany egzemplarz używany , każdy trzeba sprawdzić indywidualnie. Bardziej trzeba uważać na modele Lexusa z roczników 2008/ 2010 IS, GS, LS i to miejsca mocowań tylnej belki. Tutaj nikt nie zabezpiecza podwozia raz że nie przywiązują do tego uwagi a jak już rdza pujdzie bo w ocenie auto jeździło ( po plaży) to poprostu złomuja.

@@FixYOURride13 thank you but even if it's a long life oil, it needs to be changed otherwise the transmission will wear out faster. All fluids get dirty. When do you usually recommend to change it?
@@FrancePhil44 Apparently depends on average ambient temperature where the car is driven. But in Ireland for example they literally never change it. eCVT is a planetary gearbox and has not much to do with a CVT. I guess Toyota picked that name because people know CVTs and the driving characteristics are similar. Toyota’s planetary gearbox is in all of their hybrids, including Lexus. They very very rarely fail becuase there is no actual gearbox… I am no expert but that’s what I have gathered until today from different sources. I would not worry about the eCVT, they basicaly last forever!
'Lasts for the lifetime of the gearbox' - do me a favour. The lifetime of the gearbox will be limited by NOT changing the fluid. The Toyota/ Lexus eCVT transmission is basically mechanical - planetary gear set. No belts, cones or clutches - well proven and robust, but for goodness sake change the fluid! Not sure if it's recommended at 30k miles or 60k - check out AMD's Car Care Nut channel for sound eCVT technical information and advice.
I have no idea about cars but it's nice to see how the basic maintenance is actually done. Seems simpler than expected it seems. :) Btw. I'm seriously concidering getting the IS300h. Is it a safe purchase under 150 000 kms in? And are there any reliability changes between model years? How about the maintenance costs, Is it much more expensive to maintain than basic Toyota models?
Hi, all is depend the car condition, 150kkm it is not scary mileage if service history is fully done and car crash history. The service plan is little different depend from country where you are. So before you bay any model drop it to Toyota Dealer for Car Health Check & Hybrid Health Check. After will be easier make decisions.

BTW, this would be my first car, Would this be a good option for the first one? Money is not the issue that much. Driving is mainly city/urban based, so no much highway driving. Other option would be to just buy normal Toyota (Auris/Corolla) but they are so dull. :)

Hello, Thank you for sharing this vid, makes a good explanation how does the service are works in this model. Unfortunately I have a problem which the service couldn't deal with, and they told me there is nothing wrong, and they couldn't see any faulty part. My problem is: --- The model is the F-sport version (2015). When I'm on the road, it is totally fine, silent and smooth. But when I'm turning the car to left or right on a humpy road specially with low speed, I can hear a flat knocking from front and rear also INSIDE the car. Not always, but occasionally. The 2nd: When the situation is the same as I wrote above on the humpy road AND I'm using the brake, I can hear also some "crunching" noise, like somebody is scrubbing 2 spring against each other. Do you have any thoughts or did you ever hear a situation like that? Thanks in advance, and keep up these good vids!

Hi, no any one video with GS450h, but if you interested check cold, first start (after night) , can't be rattling after start first secends & rust above the rear subframe, rust rear brake pipes, stuck rear brake calipers, engine oil consumption, it's basic things.

All mechanics are doin it "wrong" 1. You should remove CAREFULLY the old dirty filtre. Particles may fall there and ends up in to your engine 2. Clean the box before putting the. Ew one, even use vacuum. Again small particle may end up there then in to your engine. It's just how I would do it. Good video tho!
Hi, no worries it's fine, These are recommendations for new cars only for fuel economy. If your car is with low mileage u can ask for change for 0w20 engine oil. But not expecte big change fuel consumption.
Always use the oil specified by the manufacturer (in the owner’s manual). I am sure your Lexus dealer picked the correct oil that should be used on the CT200h.
@@ldowling2714 hi, I sow...some plugs make damage the inner part an the part drops in to the cylinder and scratch all in, so chipper is replaced spark plugs like replaced piston ,or engine head , but ...your engine your toys ;)
I would advise changing it every 80k km or so, there is no such thing as lifetime fluid 😄 unless you want the lifetime of the transmission to be shorter than necessary.

Sorry I'm forgotten about you, so check transmission oil is after 100000km only check level, on hot engine, engine off, open allen cap under transmission oil sump, if oil is dropping down level OK, if oil is light red color OK,, but if is different better replaced oil witch filter. Lexus don't have mileage limits for transmission oil. (In Ireland & UK market)

Hi, best idea, plug in diagnostics for check errors. Probably it is bad contact in the Power Steering System. The errors will explain everything.
I had the same message once in a while and it did not generate error codes. Solution was change of the small battery

Hi, no worries it's fine, These are recommendations for new cars only for fuel economy. If your car is with low mileage u can ask for change for
0w20 engine oil. But not expecte big change fuel consumption.
Always use the oil specified by the manufacturer (in the owner’s manual). I am sure your Lexus dealer picked the correct oil that should be used on the CT200h.
What mileage are the spark plugs due?? Is it 4 or 6 cylinder

@@ldowling2714 hi, I sow...some plugs make damage the inner part an the part drops in to the cylinder and scratch all in, so chipper is replaced spark plugs like replaced piston ,or engine head , but ...your engine your toys ;)

Hi sorry for late reply, depends on the country in Ireland the gearbox oil is a "life time" so if not leaking not nessery check or replace it.
I would advise changing it every 80k km or so, there is no such thing as lifetime fluid 😄 unless you want the lifetime of the transmission to be shorter than necessary.

Sorry I'm forgotten about you, so check transmission oil is after 100000km only check level, on hot engine, engine off, open allen cap under transmission oil sump, if oil is dropping down level OK, if oil is light red color OK,, but if is different better replaced oil witch filter. Lexus don't have mileage limits for transmission oil. (In Ireland & UK market)

To że co 15kk albo co rok to znalazlem ale nie moge znalesc co taki serwis ma zawierac. Pewnie bedzie podstawowy ale fajnie bylo by miec jakas rozpiske
@@harrywitosa hej, zrób standardowy olej z filtrem sprawdź filtr powietrza ,nie zapomnij zajrzeć do filtra kabinowego, wycieraczki, sprawdź poziomy płynów ,sprawdź zawieszenie, światła, ciśnienie w kołach , zrób diagnostykę komputerową sprawdź czy nic nie wycieka...i chyba wystarczy sama zajrzeć warto do hamulcy 🤔😉
