Nice! I daily mine so I believe with the fact that the car is old some items may just go bad. To me the car is still a fantastic one and provides me a lot of joy.
I have an 02' 96k miles, spent 6k atleast on mechanical so far. Rods, vanos, inspection 1 & 2 items, everything almost literally. Best and worst car I have ever owned, but I love it. The sound for me is what does it, it's simply sublime.

Loving my car had the subframe reinforced with internal brace and big end bearings or rod bearings done this year needs some paint but its a beast 👌 Re Tony

If you have enough money for maintain 20 years old BMW and especially enough money for gas with this crazy prices and fuel consumption it's way to go :D
When you do the work yourself it becomes cheap. Parts are not always expensive. Labor on the other hand it always costly. This is why I make these videos to encourage people to tackle small job themselves and save on $$

Are those rims from the e92 competition package? Maybe the Avant Garde M359?
