Thanks for being honest with your reasons, you're definitely doing the best thing in prioritizing the house purchase. I unfortunately had to sell my FK8 to have enough for the house deposit. Last year I purchased the house and am very happy with how it's appreciated in value. I'm now looking for an investment property and I've also purchased another FK8 🤣 Fun can always come later - establishing yourself comes first. Good luck with it all 🙂

A lot of people change their cars regularly, and at a great cost to themselves. If you can change cars and make a profit, then you have the best of both worlds. A constant stream of new cars, plus a small profitable business. Hell yea.

car flipping can be very fun. My friend and I go halves on cars down here in CHCH And we flip cars alot. Most recent was a 2014 Q5 we bought for $7000 and sold for $14000. I wish you all the best for the near future

Sound plan!! I’ve had loads of nice cars over the years, but 3 years ago moved to a nice small town, built a house and now drive a shitbox. And couldn’t be happier. Houses are more rewarding than cars, pulling up to the house- that you own- is a high on its own, imo. My only regret is I didn’t do it sooner.

So true, the market is really struggling here in Australia too. It's not performance cars, it's every car. Truly a buyers market. I think people are really hurting, high interest rates, rent, cost of living. No one really has any cash.

Ended up selling it for 10.5k as I needed the cash and got many lower offers below that. Replaced it with a Landcruiser Prado (120 series) as I do quite a bit of towing. Downside is it's bad on fuel.

Broke my heart to sell the IS350 It had Pilot Sport 5 tyres, RC-F lower control arms, etc. But as you said the economy is down the shitter, so it's impossible to sell anything right now.

Wanted an E46 M3, but I'll go for a manual 330CI instead, much more affordable and still a heap of fun. Modding it will also be less stressful compared to ruining a classic M3.
I have 2011 E90 M3 at 129k miles. Pretty happy :) For the house, depends what you buy. It is like a car. You’ll need to do a lot of maintenance and try your best not to hoard things. I see that way too often.

I have a question, I have a Honda Odyssey RB1 Type M 2004, it’s the very basic model, it has a k24a2 engine, makes a weird noise, but apart from that, would you recommend me modifying it and of course fixing it, but should I modify it and enjoy it or should I sell it and buy myself a Honda Accord Euro 2006? Because I like the Odyssey but the interior is not the one I like the most, has like this old wood style which makes it look like a grandma car. Appreciate your videos! I’m in New Zealand too.

I can't believe you had to sell the car after all you had done to it, including a major work like swapping manual transmission...but that is a sound decision. Buying a house is definitely higher priority than cars. Cars usually don't appreciate, and even if it does you have to put so much work into them to keep them in top condition. You can buy the cars later after you have the house.

Yep prices are definitely dropping, yes the cars are listed at asking price, however are they selling? Nope. It’s only worth what someone is willing to pay.
Make sure you don't buy a house in the big cities, and have at least 20% deposit bro, and make flatmates pay your mortgage off for you. And wait until January, after christmas spending everyone will be broke and prices will be tumbling

He's driven my 350GT (6spd, 4.08 final drive, tuned, intake, exhaust etc) but for reasons I can't go into, I couldn't let Liam feature it on the channel unfortunately.
I drove a 450GT before I bought the FX50 Liam, I really liked it. A lot of car for $7 - $10k ish these days and if someone was in the market for a Commodore I'd say check the Fuga out first. But the FX50 is another level up and still loving it.
I’m sorry but, more affordable, more interesting to you guys on the channel, more practical, more reliable, more preferable to you maybe… but no one unless they’ve got some screws loose would say a Euro R is “better” than an M3. It’s slower around every race track, FWD rather than RWD, less power, much less torque, worse interior, and exterior, rpm, and “fun to drive” aspect are on the same level pretty much.

bought an E46 320i for 2.2 and have spent 2.5k on tiding it up, but honestly even tho it's a 320 its still an awesome car.
