Sauza family is also making tequila under La Fortaleza and still independent using one the original distillery left by the corporate that bought Sauza tequila. They were left with original property. Billy Erickson aka Guillermo Sauza founded and operates the distillery. He’s the grandson of Eladio Sauza.
I’m so glad you found the channel and your message made my day, thanks so much. I respect the process and I am truly excited for what the future holds. But for now, I will work on getting better each and every day. Thanks for taking time to comment, I really appreciate it. -Jeff
Awesome man, thanks so much. I started 19 months ago and didn’t know anything about filming or being in front of a camera. Still learning so much and new episodes are going to be awesome. Thanks for the support, couldn’t do this without people like you man. Cheers, -Jeff
I second Sebastians comment. Any tequilas that you would recommend that are more readily available in the U.S.? I recently got into Tequila and so far have purchased Herradura Ultra and Patron Extra Anejo and have really liked both. Thanks!
@@Loveall247 I would say pay attention to all the tequilas I’ve showcased In The video. Some of my favourites is from Cascahuin, Fortaleza, Arrette, Volans, cutwater spirits. I like to do comparisons when trying tequila and trying a few side by side will help you understand your palate and why you like the product. Can’t thank you enough for your support and please let me know what tequila you are enjoying. Cheers, -Jeff
Jake Lustig really glad you enjoyed the episode and thanks for taking the time and commenting. I learned so much on this trip and I’m glad to be sharing what I learned with everyone. Cheers, -Jeff
Can’t thank you enough brother. Really appreciate you taking time to say this and all I can say is that I respect the process and my only goal is making better content and bringing more value and insight into the industry. Cheers, -Jeff
Just found this channel. It's great! I'm surprised it's not bigger. I would recommend advertising a bit just in a friendly manner to all sorts of drinking forums and websites and such. There are also plenty of cities that are known for microbrewing and etc. Market to these crowds and i think you'll easily get more subs.
Thanks for the comment and I really appreciate the recommendations. I agree and will definitely be advertising more this year! Cheers and glad you like the channel. -Jeff
Thanks so much, we are working on new segment about cocktails and doing more food and alcohol pairing for 2020. Stay tuned and can’t thank you enough for the support. -Jeff
Just stumble on this channel. The jimador takes one second to slice the agave pina & Jeff took one eternity to do the same, hilarious 👍😀. I love learning a new word today ANGEL'S SHARE. Love the contents of the channel.
Hahahahahaha it truly is an art and I have so much respect to Jimadores and all the workers. I did do some in a few hits but those never made it to the final episode. Hahahaha glad your enjoying the channel. Thanks so much for the comment and support. -Jeff
Thanks so much. We are always trying new, creative ways to tell stories. I’m glad you enjoyed. If your son is creative and interested in working in the industry. Let me know. Always looking for creative talent. Cheers, -Jeff
Oh....Jeff....cam you do a segment on Grand Marnier? I love it! It is the smoothest liqueur I have ever drank, but I've never known how they make it, I know it is from Oranges. Love it alone, as a sipping liqueur......but it's great in coffee too! Thank you for such a great experience, as I get to travel through you! God bless you in all your future endeavors!
a lot of these upcoming Tequilla makers rush to use modern technologies and totally disregard the process that makes tequila, tequila, there are few brands today who still keep making tequila the old school way, this family is one, and even though Petron is a modern brand they still make their tequila the old school way, the only time they use modern technology is in the bottling and packaging process, the rest of the process is old school, that's how it should be, that way you keep not only the process making of the product 100% and the method alive, but you keep the flavor of the tequila as close to the original product as possible, by the way, I just found your channel, I love it, nice video.
Thanks so much for the comment and I couldn’t agree with you more. What’s great about that is tequila will tell you exactly how it’s made through it’s flavor and how much love it was given to make it. Can’t thank you enough for your support and so glad you found my channel. Hope you find value and great stories here about the alcohol industry. Cheers, -Jeff
@@drinkdestinations oh I will, I am looking to start my own tequila brand, too bad there aren't many videos that show the whole process of the traditional way of making tequila.
Hello sir, i am Manoj from India, i am preparing to start my own Tequila production company here, i want more information about the agave plant seeds availability and machineries for the production, could you please help me in this sir..? Please reply me, i am eagerly waiting for your reply 🙏
I would reach out to any of these tequila distilleries for additional questions you may have regarding production. They will have better answers than me.
Well.....now we know that Angels like a lot of Tequila....lol. Can you imagine? A drunk Angel, doing shots next to you....lol. I LOVE Tequila! It is the ONLY alcohol I cannot not sick from after getting toasted. I love my Tequila. I'd love to buy some of the brick oven variety and aged 4-6 years, from this Distillery. Can you buy this in America?
I appreciate it the support and the sub! Glad you are enjoying the episodes and can’t thank you enough for the amazing comments. 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏 thank you - Jeff
Great question. This process happens before bottling which again is a controlled process and is proofed differently depending on what country it’s going too. -Jeff
