Wonderful song, reminds me a lot of something XTC might have done in their day. Power pop may be a tough market to sell, but to hell with those who “don’t get it.” It’s all for the listeners with a sense of melody, harmony, and guitar-driven pop. To hell with the deaf and the dumb... that means more for you and me!
Great harmonic sense, unpredictable chords and inversions, a real savant, soulful, definitely not a sell out. I love these songs. A great musician. Record companies are definitely asleep.
They’re not asleep, they are deaf, dumb, and blind to all that is harmonious, melodically, and fun. Today, the emphasis is on sticking with the most current “formula.” In my 64 years, I have never seen music so bad, last for so long.
This is pretty much the most important shit for this time to come out...everything is there...yes jellyfish was great...but this is so raw and beautiful at the same time...oh yes and the grays
Jason Faulkner is so underrated! He should be a huge star bc he'a so talented---jellyfish, the greys, and his solo stuff; so poppy and melodic!! LOVE!

True, shame for greater public. I'm not sure most people would get this though, personally I love it.

@@Brennan_Dale3169 They WOULD NOT GET IT. It’s well-above their level of listening.
@@xtc1957 But they sure play a mean pinball!
Yeah.... Solid stuff we get to hear.... Something went right at least.... 😊
This song is fantastic. The dream of the 90s IS alive.
1996!? gods damn this song ages me. Love it.

So good
Awesome song.
I like the way the guitar in the background gives a familiar riff.
This song deserves a comment!
Great powerful pop!
Great stuff a lot heart...miss those times
This is an absolute classic. Anyone into The Beatles should check this out. Flawless. Every home should have one!
Agreed, some Beatle-ish aspects there. And his voice has always reminded me of Pete Ham's (from Badfinger... another Beatles association).
One for home, one for the office and one for the boat.
Jam!
Great!
Good sound
Oh yeah nice!
Merci !
More to him than just Jellyfish, although he was great with them.
Yep!
When I first heard this in it's debut my first thought was Fleetwood Mac.
Beatles .. and a bit of XTC too .. classy english sound
It reminds me of Bob Welch's Ebony Eyes.
looks like Joe Jackson
