Very very nice boat. Lovely capture of the boat under sail, well done. One reef in the main going upwind and the front cockpit is comfortable. Wow. Can I ask please, at one point someone at starboard front of salon was sitting looking at something under a towel. Was that a drone screen? Fiji gold in Fiji blue…. livin the dream. Thanks for sharing.
lol… that was the delivery skipper Glen. It was a really sunny day and the angle of the sun was causing glare on the B&G plotter so he put a towel over his head and looked like he had a cold and was breathing in VapoRub to clear his lungs. I didn’t realize I had that on video but we did spend some time poking fun at him for doing that. On another of our charter episodes I left my undies drying on the safety line beside the helm and was horrified when I watched the clip after I published it realizing the world now know what brand of undies I wear… I’ll have to be more careful editing. Thank for watching again Tony!
Actually - Bob used that IPad as a backup chart plotter since it was loaded with different charts than what he had on the B&G. Most charts for the Yasawas seem to be a little off and didn’t have all the reefs accurately mapped so it came in handy when we were in close to the reefs. I intend to also run a backup system using OpenCPN on an onboard MacBook just in case. Cheers!
@@secondwindadventures1646 redundancy is always good. I would think that an iPad is more sturdy and accept more rough treatment than a MacBook. But I guess the open cpn can’t be run on iPads?
@Eddie_-_ unfortunately it is not supported on iPad OS but I intend to leave my MacBook in the convertible office/state room access that plotter remotely using the onboard WiFi network maybe through mirroring - haven’t quite worked that out yet - otherwise I’ll probably just use my MacBook from the nav desk.
Finally getting to see a Kinetic Cat sail. What a beauty!
And when we finally get ours, we’ll be posting tons of footage of her under sail. Thanks for watching!
I see your excitement from previous videos and I am excited as well 😂. Have lots and lots of fun! And please keep posting these amazing videos.
I was on that boat in Fiji not long ago. Bob is such a lovely guy.
Yes - We agree! Bob introduced me to Flat White on his Nespresso and kite foiling! His company builds a great boat too. Thanks for watching.
Great vid.I really like how you show all the sail handlings etc. Beaut and thanks.
You are welcome and thanks for watching!

Amazing boat
His boat was the O.G. !
Interesting to see a randomly adhoc placed iPad 😊
